“I recently had a small shower replaced because of a leak. I chose Tile Center based on Next Door reviews and have never had such a positive experience with a business. They were top notch from start to finish. The workmanship was superb, as well as the communication and reliability. Frank ( who oversaw the project from start to finish) monitored the daily progress with updates and pictures. Everything went smoothly even when there were unexpected issues. They were discussed and resolved promptly.They are not inexpensive, although competitive. This caused me some concerns, but I know I made the right decision.If I ever need any home improvements I will certainly use Tile Center again. “We asked Raffi to design and build custom built-in bookshelves in our home office. He made important improvements to our draft design, including incorporating a desk within the bookshelves. He was receptive to specific requests we had for the project, including adding two file drawers and three toe-kick drawers. He communicated frequently to make sure we were on the same page about customization decisions. We had a tight timeline, and Raffi worked overtime to make sure the project was complete when we needed it. We are very pleased with the outcome; it has completely revamped our office!”

When we ordered, the price on the invoice was higher for some items than the price quoted, and when I pointed this out, Jane successfully got us a refund for the difference. I made a mistake and mis-measured when ordering my bathroom vanity. It was very close to being the right size, but the vanity top was a little too big and the bathroom door wouldn't close. Sebastian was very patient, talked me through all of my options, looked at pictures of the problem, and through a couple of phone calls resolved my problem without a huge expense. It was a big problem of my own making, but Sebastian resolved it very quickly. Thanks!”

“I was recommended to Wellman from a friend of mine who used them for several projects. After meeting with Sharifa, I felt that I found a long lost friend. I came with a picture frame that I wanted to use for my kitchen cabinets. She immediately showed me the color and style that fit perfectly. Then I explained my vision about a hint of color. When we went to the backsplash area I located a very unusual design. Once we had that all set, Sharifa showed me a counter top that brought all the colors together as well as the hardware. We used several different styles for the cabinet doors, the pantry doors, and the drawers. We changed up the sink to one sink instead of two with a gorgeous brass faucet. Sadly, we couldn't use the ceiling fixtures I wanted because we didn't realize the ceiling was concrete and we could only use one fixture. Couldn't break open the ceiling as that would not have passed the condo requirements. Every afternoon, when the work crew left, they cleaned up and swept the area they were working on. You would have never known I was remodeling my kitchen. The general contractor, was Duane, the husband of Sharifa. I so appreciated this was a small business and family owned. I truly enjoyed working with everyone in their entire team.”

“We used Exis for 2 major renovations. First was our master bath which was fully overhauled, including a redesign of the layout. Second was greatly expanding our kitchen which included a bump out of our house. Both times, we went to Exis with an idea, Peter came up with a plan, made a contract, and then started the project very quickly. It was faster than we we were even ready for but it was nicer to have it done sooner, I guess. Once the project started, they were on site making progress every day. I've heard other contractors can ghost for a while but Exis was there every day (other than weekends, of course). And they clean up at the end of each day (so you don't have things lying everywhere and it's minimally dusty). We are extremely happy with the quality of everything they did (except for the finishing of the floors who they subcontracted out to Julio. If we were to do another renovation, we'd use Exis but we'd ask for another floor finishing subcontractor). If there is a problem with anything, Exis will come fix the problem promptly. Overall, I highly, highly recommend using Exis for any of your construction work.”
