I think hair salons have really raised their prices. Over 100 dollars for single process color on roots seems steep. Not paying that.

UPDATE: I decided to go back to get it fixed and Bubbles handled it amazingly. This time I had Jasminne and she did a wonderful job. I definitely ccould see myself going back to Bubbles again after all this.
Original: I had Zenebework and she completely ruined two years worth of growth with botched layers. I’ve been going to bubbles for a while now and I have had great experiences and I recommended it to friends and family. I tried to ask her to fix it and she only insisted on blow drying it saying it would make it look better.

We are so much happy with Zulma. . She did a great job. She heard us what exactly we wanted. She did exactly what we wanted to see in our daughter’s haircut style. Daughter was so comfortable she was so happy. She gained her confidence and she made her day by making her look cute in her new haircut. I am posting before and after pic

I tried Bubbles last month. Went into the salon (my hair was styled relatively straight) for a blow dry. The stylist said it would be $58 ahead of time, proceeded to do a nice job using her Dyson Blow Dryer.
I went again last Saturday ( made the appointment on Thursday) and walked in with my hair in its natural curly style. She remembered me, I said I wanted the same style she had given me before. I assumed the price would have been the same. I pointed out that on this occasion she wasn’t using her Dyson and she made some excuse.
When I went to pay, I was told it was $72!!!!!
I asked why it was higher the lady with the pink hair at the register told me they went up on prices….since last month? The older white lady also paying asked if her price had gone up and they told her “Oh no, not for you”
My stylist said I got a deluxe blow dry, but obviously did not bother to tell me before she started like she did the first time.
My take on this?
First time you mistook me for a different ethnicity.
When I show up the second time with curly hair, I am treated differently, was not offered the use of the state of the art hair tools, and then YOU CHARGE ME $14 extra.
Profiling is not good for business.
SHAME ON YOU and I will never come there again

I do not recommend going to this hair salon. The person who cut my hair was asking me weird questions that were not meant for a hair salon, her fake nails were popping off in my hair, and she asked the stylist next to me how to cut my hair. She squatted down behind the salon chair I was sitting in and whispered to the stylist next to us asking how to do the technique I wanted done, thinking I couldn't see/hear her. She had no idea what she was doing and it took 1 hour and 50 minutes to trim off 1 inch off my hair and didn't know how to do a V-cut. My two front framing pieces are completely uneven and cut straight across. I am extremely dissatisfied and frustrated with the experience I had at this salon.
