I called a week in advance and scheduled an appointment to get a haircut before a trip. They didn't write it down so the day of appointment, I waited around 30 mins in the shop to learn no one was available to do my hair.

I went to Mahia's Salon for the first time Saturday after being referred by a good friend of mine. I went in for a haircut and style and I must say I am inlove with my hair. Tia did an amazing job on the cut and styling it. The environment was really nice and chill it was busy so I was there for a while but I didn’t mind. I damaged my hair so I definitely will be going here to get my hair healthy again as it grows back

I've been coming to Maria's for over 10 years and have had my hair done by various stylists. The salon has had a recent face lift which looks great. It's nice to see small businesses that have survived the pandemic.

Mahia has an amazing personality. There was death in my family so I did not come in on my appt day. But I will set up another appointment just so I can meet Mahia in person. She was very respectful and a delight to talk to over the phone.

I got a haircut and my brows shaped and tinted. I originally wanted a wash, cut and style when I called. However , when I got there she just sprayed water in my hair and cut it. So that was disappointing but it was a decent haircut. The makeup artist was great I was just shocked on how dark my brows are now. Typically my brows are really light and thin so it was a huge change. Now that it's done the color is growing on me a little. This is a very cozy little place. I think this salon is more geared toward African American beauty (which I didn't know until I got there) but either way they did a good job and was overall happy with the services I received. I had TiChi give me a haircut. My hair is very fine but thick, and isn't very curly. The cut was pretty basic, nothing super fancy. I'd give the haircut a 3.5 out of 5 star. The actual salon was lovely and comfortable. There were quite a few customers but I was still greeted kindly and seen to immediately.
