Terrible attitude towards people. No respect or compassion. I was very unlucky to get into this store.I bought a wig and wanted to immediately exchange it for another one.Of course, I was allowed to try on my wig only after purchase.It turned out to be big. I found a smaller one I asked to exchange them. I will be wearing a wig on my bald head due to illness.But this unpleasant Asian woman and her husband didn’t even listen. No amount of persuasion had any effect on them.I asked to exchange a $60 wig for a $30 wig.They didn't agree These are callous people. I left this wig for them and just left the store.Nobody returned my money.It seems that such bestial behavior is the norm for them.

Do not show up here at 7:50pm because they will be CLOSED - locking up and walking out!! Lol “Grandma” as she told me to call her said they close at 7:50pm not 8pm. I was going out of town and my hair was half done it was an emergency. So I drove 30 minutes to a beauty supply in Lanham that was open til 9. Besides that, they always have what I need, helpful, well stocked and clean.

Please never go here. They might have minority staff but they are racist or some even say prejudice. The large black woman lies on random customers in the store. I’m 69 years old! She had the nasty attitude with a smile on her face. Just disgusting. She’s not helpful just sits behind the counter making smart remarks. I also was there yesterday, the way the security guard and police spoke about all the fake allegations and calls they get was the last straw for me. I don’t believe in spending money where people aren’t respected.

Bad customer service. Unknowingly, I entered the store 4 minutes before they closed. I was a few steps inside when the owner, BJ, ran to the door and said “we close!” And locked the door behind me. In my head, I thought I still had time to grab the things I needed since I was already inside the store. I grabbed some braiding hair but not all that I needed. I head over to the bundle section and saw a lady (his daughter), I asked if they had human hair. She looked confused. The owner, who was at the counter said something in their language (I assumed he told her to take me out because they are closed) the daughter asked me if I could come back tomorrow and that she would have a surprise for me. I, in utter shock, put down my hair and basket and she escorted me out! I was already in the store! They could have let me finish shopping and closed afterwards. Especially if I had items in my hand and going to pay. I will never return here. Ladies there is a black owned hair store in the area called Joyce Essentials, please go there instead!

I wonder why such a HUGE store is always empty it's unfair that you can't return an item not worn. You can't try a wig on in the store and if you take it home and try on it's considered open not even an exchange. I wanted a beauty supply store in Odenton but oh well I'm no longer a customer back to Walmart for my supplies.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced! It clearly states on the receipt that the hair can be exchanged within 7 days of purchase. I bought the hair back in 3 days to exchange it and was told by an older black woman(after she ripped the package open at the register and ran her hands through the hair) and an Asian woman that the hair couldn’t be accepted for exchange. I explained that an older Asian gentleman rung me up a few days prior and I hadn’t used, open, or tampered with the package in any way because it sat in the bag as it wasn’t needed. She then says that I should have received a discount on hair if it was purchased this way because it didn’t meet “store standards.” Which you can see from my receipt, I did not. Braiding hair is available everywhere and is relatively cheap, but please do not advertise business practices that aren’t followed!

great store ! amazing selection of everything including clothes . very reasonable prices . very friendly employees and unlike other beauty supply stores they don’t follow you around or hover over you just because you’re Black and think you’re going to steal ! happy to finally have a beauty supply in odenton that lets people shop in peace ! BJs will continue to receive my business thank you for the great service :)*EDIT : LOL i did not realize i already gave this place five stars with my other google account … just goes to show how awesome this store is !! ?
