We were here for one night to attend the White Marlin Open. We were able to check in early and guided to the event by the gentlemen at the front desk. The room was clean and we had no issues. Great location to the boardwalk or any other thing you wanted to attend. Just park the car and walk.

Hey hey guys! So me and my mother stayed at the Wellington as a last minute pitch for lodging in such an expensive location for a short turnaround. I would recommend the Wellington because, as you will read in most of the comments, the rooms are really clean and comfortable. I could see that staff takes great pride in winning customers back. The only thing I would recommend is that if you're not a fan of climbing stairs just stay on the first and second floors. The Wellington is a nice little nook and crannie literally just about 100 steps (if that) to the boardwalk. I kinda got the feeling that it was a perfect landscape for anyone who wanted to explore the Boardwalk north or south. There are so many nice breakfast and brunch boutiques that compliment the hotel and are just steps away. Gift and vapor shops can be reached in minutes. There's a liquor store adjacent to the Wellington so once you park you don't have to go scrambling from place to place to find your brew. And the cherry on top about staying at this lovely place is that the staff is like family. SAL, FRANCIS, GUY, we'll be seeing you all real soon. We really appreciate the simplicity of just staying somewhere that felt authentic and like home. When I think of the Wellington, I think......smooth sailing !

This hotel was excellent!! Very clean, close to the beach and Broadway. Staff was exceptional !!! Our second time staying their and will definitely come back.

Booked three rooms for a family trip. Had great experience, the service was outstanding, the rooms were clean, and the location was amazing! Can’t wait to book another trip in the near future. 5/5 would recommend!
Rooms: Clean and beds were very comfortable.
Nearby activities: There are many shops on the board walk, the beach, very close to bars.
Safety: Very safe location.
Walkability: The boardwalk is walking distance.
Food & drinks: The location is right on the board walk with many restaurants and other shops

Had a very nice experience in this hotel. Extremely clean, room/furniture in excellent condition. As a retired couple, we appreciated the friendly and accommodating staff and their commitment to providing a comfortable and safe experience.

The building is a little run down, but the rooms & bathrooms are clean, staff are very friendly and accommodating, and the location can’t be beat.

We arrived at 3 or 4 am and the staff was very accommodating, the hotel had clean coil rooms and is very close to the boardwalk. Would love to check out the family apartments next trip.

This is our third year staying at The Wellington. It is perfect for us. Everyone is courteous, the hotel is clean and it is a fantastic location. We will definitely be back next year.

The staff was very friendly, accommodating, & helpful! As soon as we entered the office, not to mention our very clean room, the smell of clean surrounds you! Very well kept hotel. What made it most convenient was that it is only a two minute walk to the boardwalk and beach! I would highly recommend staying at the Wellington. The rates are very reasonable as well!Rooms: Perfect one bedroom room for a couple!

Small room, wifi did not work, renovated room, clean and close to the shoreline and boardwalk, partial ocean view doesn't worth the extra payment, very tight parking, show water pressure is low and water trickles from shower head, takes long time to wash off sand from your hair body in that shower, room paymen didn't match service and room amenities, over priced

This hotel is very conveniently located less than a 2-minute walk to the beach access on 9th Ave. The hotel is very clean and smells like cleaning products and bleach which I appreciate LOL. I was in room 116 which is next to the coffee station, and we did hear people talking outside of the door in the early morning.The room itself is small but we were only here for 2 nights so it wasn't a big deal. As mentioned in other posts the hotel has parking, but the spots are very tight. Overall, I would stay again but request a room on the 2nd floor just not to be near the coffee station.
