Typical beach store. Overpriced beach stuff and nothing you really need.

I worked at Funcade in the late 70s early 80s and a lot of OC history has walked through their doors over the years. I'm pretty sure the current mayor worked here as a kid although that was before my time. This place used to be sort of a locals arcade. I'm sure now there's no such thing. We'd get a lot a families who stayed for the week and cashed their tickets out on the last night. It's away from the hub-bub of the inlet area. And we always had an interesting mix of families, teens, and half-drunks wandering on the boards. We treated all of them in a friendly manner. I'm sure it's the same today. I was bummed out there were zero pinball machines in there when I visited, but that's the times. We used to have 2 rows, perfectly maintained, with a couple of antique nickle bingo machines that paid off in coupons.

So we came in here today because the first store we stopped at the guy gave us no help whatsoever. Even when we asked for it. So we stopped in here. Lark, the lady helping us, was super friendly. She helped us find the design we wanted, choose a color and pick out accessories. Definitely go here to shop. She was on top of making sure things were stocked and she was super friendly.

The Best On The Boards! This is the absolute best, most awesome arcade in Ocean City. We have been going to this arcade every summer for the past 19 years or so. This is a family run arcade. Very well run, clean, great prizes to get for your tickets, good amount of tickets given out at the games. It's small and not insane like the giant arcades down at the inlet. You will find old school favs like Galaga and Pac-Man, skeeball, pinball, air hockey, as well as all the newfangled games that pop up. We never miss a chance to visit Funcade on the boardwalk at 9th St. I will be sad hewn the day comes that I walk down the boardwalk and this gem is no longer there, or is being run by different people. You gotta go! The name says it all!
