I will say right here that if you are looking for a fancy hotel full of amenities, this place is not for you. If you are looking for a place that is reasonably priced, and clean where you can sleep and shower, this is a good place to consider.
If you are a family on a budget, this hotel has a small private beach area complete with a small playground set, picnic tables and chairs to sit and watch the boats go by. You can even fish off the bulkhead wall. There is also a pool for days when you don't want to go to the beach.
The staff are friendly and helpful. During our last stay, 24 hours after we arrived we had to go home due to an emergency. The manager was very gracious and charged us only for the one night we stayed and offered us either a refund of the rest of our money (we paid ahead) or to roll it over to another stay (we chose to roll over to another stay).
When we first stayed here last year, we were coming from another no frills hotel that we had stayed at for over 10 years. Most of the reviews at the time were a bit mixed, with most complaining that the rooms are outdated, which doesn't matter to us. We had always passed this place and always thought it was a neat place and decided to give it a try. We are glad that we did.

Stay away! Booked in March for a festival. Checked in and instantly went to the festival. Poured all day so we left early and go to the room about 10pm. Bugs crawling on the tv stand. Flys coming out from the headboard. Massive pile of someone else’s hair under the pillows. Hair imbedded in the towels. Packed our stuff and went to the front desk. All we were told is “I’m sorry”. Left numerous emails asking for management to call us. Nobody ever did. Called a week later to see if my emails had been read, they had not. Finally spoke to Angie the manager on Sunday who said she’s call me back Monday with an answer after speaking to Nicole. No return call. Nothing Tuesday. Called Tuesday night and she wasn’t there. On Wednesday night Brian called and offered to refund 1/2 of our payment since “the room was inspected after and it ‘wasn’t that bad’”. What the hell does that mean? When did they even check the room out since nobody got back to me until I called them a week later. Shouldn’t be any hair found on a clean bed or bugs crawling on stuff. When I said that wasn’t a very respectable offer or refund I was told I had the room checked out for a very considerable amount of time. 12:20pm to 10:30pm. Checkout is 11am the next morning. Place is a joke. Stay away from this skeeze bag motel. Probably got hepatitis from just entering the room.

It is what it is listed as, a 2 star motel, rooms are very small but clean, bed was older and uncomfortable, staff was very friendly(actually reminded me of the places we used to stay at the jersey shore as a kid on the rare occasion my lower middle class family was able to get away for a weekend every few years) Stayed here during the Oceans calling festival and prices were very expensive but I will say this, it poured rain the first night and as we were leaving the festival and saw the insane line of people waiting for the shuttle or thought about the guy earlier in the day who said he was staying a hotel about 25 blocks up and how we only had a 2-3 minute walk to our room, I would have paid more just for the convenience.

We stayed there this past weekend for the Oceans Calling Country Concert. I must say I was a bit skeptical about staying somewhere where the reviews weren't 5 star, however, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean. The service was very good, the folks at the office were awesome. It was convenient to the venue. There were 4 of us and the only thing I could I would say is that the bathroom was small. Would I stay there again, absolutely!
Rooms: Rooms were dated, but very clean!
Nearby activities: Very close to the beach & boardwalk!
Safety: I had no fears walking to or from the venue

We stayed in room 300 we booked our trip for 1 whole week due to good price. BUT unfortunately in room 300 200 had BED BUGS! AND ROACHES! That was upstairs where the steps smelt terrible and like cigarettes! We finally got moved to room 10 downstairs in front! Finally no bed bugs in there! Talked to a neighbor downstairs and he said upstairs had the same complaint in 2023!!! Service at front desk was poor but manageable! Staff to busy sleeping in the back at where the desk is! On top of it id have to say the staff does not have a great attitude and doesn't have great customer service! Great view for kids by the small beach area that's about it! Satisfied with room 10 kinda!!! But at least we got a room after the 3rd try with no bed bugs!!! Luckily!!

The front office was very nice! We stayed on the top floor bay side and view was so pretty. Room was clean, no complaints just a bit outdated. Would recommend and stay again. Very convenient location barely had to drive anywhere.
Walkability: Convenient to restaurants and boardwalk

Great location. 5 min walk to ocean city boardwalk beach. Shallow beach at the hotel. We were there during horse shoe crab spawning. There is also a fishing pier at the hotel, my husband really enjoyed that. There is a pool on premise but never got to use it as the same families took up all the tables and chairs everyday we were there. No need to drive anywhere. Amusement park is right behind the hotel and plenty of options for food. Room-beds were clean and comfortable. Window unit ac is very loud and no curtains on windows made sleeping in past sunrise impossible, but we were at the beach. Room needs some updating but for the location, price is perfect. Staff is nice. Harbor watch and Wedge restaurant is right across the street.
Rooms: We had a double. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom is TINY. Each room had comfy chairs outside the room plus plenty of chairs and lounges on the premises.
Nearby activities: Pier carnival is right behind the hotel. 5.min walk to boardwalk side of.ocean city
Safety: Door knob is flimsy, chain lock. But didn't have any issues
Walkability: Close to EVERYTHING
Food and drinks: 2 restaurants right across the street and all the wonderful food the boardwalk has to offer.
Noteworthy details: There is a fishing pier on the premise, it's 10.00 for 12hours. It's open 24hrs. You can fish from the property for free.

Great place to bring the family and fish. 1 block to the beginning of the boardwalk, nice size pool, and access to the fishing pier included with your room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only complaint that I have is that the beds should be replaced. I've stayed in multiple rooms over the years and have always had a hard time sleeping due to the old, low quality mattresses.

Much better than expected. Customer service via phone was bad but when I got there the gentleman at the counter was great.
Rooms were nice and spacious. It was clean and didn’t have an overwhelming smell.
Super nice section to sit and look at the bay. Pool was small but good enough to take a break from the beach. Plus it was right next to the bay.
There was plenty of parking and we were able to check in early.

The main thing this motel has going for it is the location, and the pool. Rooms need updated BADLY. This place hasn't changed in decades, everything in the room was falling apart (bathroom mirror cracked, tub calking cracked, AC BARELY worked, sofa bed fell in). The worst thing that broke, was the chain across the door. Not even the chain, the entire wooden plank that it was hooked on came off! All that wood is rotted, this place truly just needs majorly renovated. Everything shouldn't be breaking on us. I also wanna stress the AC, this weather is way too hot to have an AC that can barely cool down half the place. We left it on the coolest setting the entire weekend, and it never cooled the place down. Just kept it tolerable. The air that came out of it was cold, but it could barely push the air out! We sweat all night. Bathroom was alright, but it was tiny. If you're bigger, you'll have trouble getting in and closing the door.
Now for the good things:
Pool was very nice. Didn't even have that chemical smell that most pools have.
Room was spacious, had space for 5 people. (But the AC couldn't reach the entire room)
Location is good, only a short walk to the main beach. Even has a little bay side area behind the motel that you can dip your feet in and find some sea shells.
If you smoke, this is the place. Tons of people sit on the chairs outside of the room and smoke all day.
Overall, I'd only ever stay here again if it's the only cheaper place available. Not the absolute worst, but definitely not great.
