If you are visiting OC or any of the Delaware beaches you need to make a trip to this surf shop even if it is just to meet Doc. We took surf lessons from him and his prices are unbeatable and...you get lessons from the best. He makes his own boards and his shop really does have everything you need from boogie boards, surf boards, board shorts and reef flip flops along with some cool surf shirts. A stop here will be a must every time we are in the area.

Great little surf shop with a great selection of boards from a variety of shapers....including the owners handmade Ocean Atlantic boards. The owner Doc is extremely nice and knowledgeable. Must have asked him 50 questions about board shapes and he was more than happy to help me.

For a true and traditional surfing experience go Visit the Doc. He has a wealth of knowledge and is an excellent teacher. Awesome old school shop,terrific men’s clothing he has everything you need. Thank you Doc for the lesson see you soon.

My son just finished a lesson with Doc. He’s the real deal! Ocean Atlantic Surfing is a small, cool place owned and operated by a skilled surfer. Doc is very knowledgeable, great teacher, patient. Spent an appropriate amount of time educating about how to read and respect the ocean, aspects of the board and practicing popping up before hitting the water. He got up a few times and can’t wait to go back out. Totally awesome experience! Recommend this place to all! Thanks Doc!

I learned more about surfboards in the time spent with "Doc" that i will definitely have to get one. I told Doc that I most likely wouldn't be able to buy from him, but he still took his time to educate me. Great place.

Great surf shop and owner! I can't believe how much stuff he has fit in that store. It may be a little tight moving around in the store, but if you take the time to look, I'm sure you will find something you like. I've found some good deals there over the years.
