Very nice hotel! Older but well kept. Location,staff awesome.Only minor complaint was some hairs in bathroom when we arrived and after room service otherwise clean. Parking could be enforced as small vehicles supposed to park in garage and vehicles in no parking tow zone not towed. Need more of the front spots as handicap parking. We have a van with handicap plates and had to park in garage. All minor things, we really enjoyed our stay! Ice cream shop and coffee shop really overpriced! Pizza shop and restaurant for breakfast not bad.

The grand hotel excellent service rooms were very tidy and clean great view of the beach and Boardwalk.

Worst stay ever, ruined our vacation. I paid more than other places because I thought this was a nice hotel. The beds are hard as a rock, the worst hotel or motel bed I've ever laid on. I was sore all weekend and I normally have no type of issue like that. We were all forced to evacuate randomly but they wouldn't tell anyone what happened or why. The whole lobby smelled like burnt fire. This place is dirty, not fancy or nice like it looks. The balconies have no separation so I just listened to a fat lady on the next balcony over loudly coughing the whole weekend. This place is the worst and of course they won't offer anything to make it right so why even complain. 0/10

A nice large and most importantly a clean room. The balcony view was fabulous ?. The bathroom could use an upgrade and housekeeping was kind of slow. We left our room for a few hours and came back and the room still wasn't clean yet.The area is great for walking. We walked the boardwalk from one end to the other. The ocean was wonderful to just walk along.My only complaint was that the Grand Terrace Restaurant. The breakfast we had there was awful. The food appeared to be just warmed up and not cooked fresh. It wasn't even hot.But barring the complaints, that are minimal, I'll stay there again.

We will definitely be back!!!! Beds were comfortable. Room was cleaned every day, which we missed because of the pandemic. Great location and price for value ?Walkability: This is near everything. We walked to the boardwalk and our favorite restaurants

Great hotel, but they do not answer their phone often I found when I tried all day to contact them. Great amenities and great views! Friendly staff and our room was wonderful.Rooms: On the northern section of the boardwalk. Clean beach and great views. In person front desk service was great. Game room Indoor pool , clean. There was a man who was drunk who decided to take over the pool tables and kick others out. Could not understand his banter of why the game room was his. He seemed ready to be physical with the others who wanted to play in the game room that day. Well I did not blame the hotel for this persons behavior. And my family and I left it to him. I would say this is probably the best hotel I stayed at in OC so far.Nearby activities: Board walk , Beach , game room , biking, restaurant, indoor pool, much more!Walkability: Boardwalk is right there. Stores and restaurants all walking distance. And of course the beach!
