Based off the reviews and personal experience. People who can’t communicate in English can’t ride here and it seems like an ongoing issue, they should hire someone who can communicate in Spanish/other common languages. I offered to help translate and basically gave the run down on the jet skis safety rules to my cousin who doesn’t know English very well and they still said no. I asked if it was a rule in Maryland and lady in the front desk said no but it’s there policies and then processed to recommend me over to another place named Odyssey and said there rules are different then theres. Definitely do not recommend this place.

Me and my family and our friends all rented a boat and jet skis and it was so much fun! the staff was so kind and friendly. It was our first time doing this and we will definitely be returning next year! highly recommend!!

After a terrible experience the day before with another boat rental place these gentleman were a breath of fresh air. Helpful and professional. The equipment was new and fantastic. You guys made our week! We were sad to not be able to come back the next day because of weather but even that service was amazing. We will be back!

This place hands down is the only jet ski place my family and I trust, and utilize!! Our Guide, Connor aka Matthew was AMAZING! Super knowledgeable, super friendly and he helped my 8yr old have an amazing and memorable first jet ski experience!! Our family enjoyed you Connor!! This place was great. It is a great option for a first time jet skier.Their staff is friendly and efficient. They have many people to help get you ready, that the whole process of signing up and taking the required written test was a smooth quick process.The instructors for the jet skiing were very informative and have us a quick lesson while we sat on the jet skis.The area that you jet ski in in the bay is relatively small and just right outside the dock. Because there wasn’t much variety in the view or places to go I don’t feel like we will be back to this location. However, I think this place if perfect for a first time jet skier.

We had an EXCELLENT experience at Bayside! The office staff were professional and efficient. Cam and Jason explained all of the safety regulations and required paperwork clearly and were very kind and welcoming, a pleasure! We rented a pontoon for a few hours. It was pristine and in perfect working order. Dennis gave us a thorough briefing on how to operate the boat, all the safety regulations and some tips on areas to visit in the bay. Parking was easy and the staff were quick to help with our belongings. This is a very well run business and we really appreciated their focus on safety, customer service and our enjoyment. We will definitely return next summer and we hope to try their jet skies. Thank you so much, Bayside for a memorable afternoon!

We had an awesome time jet skiing and our guide Jason very helpful and nice. He took the time to make sure my wife was comfortable operating the ski. The entire staff was very polite and helpful. They took the time to show my children little jelly fish swimming around the dock. This was a great addition to our families first visit to Ocean City. Everyone was very welcoming and will definitely visit again.

If you read this review and you or your companion are not a native English speaker, forget about here and find another places to ride jet ski. My Korean mother understands English very well but a little awkward at speech and writing. When we were writing some documents, she gave me few peeks to make sure she is writing write, but the girl at the front desk saw that and asked if she really understands English. This felt a bit uncanny, but not the worst. There were small objection but thing went well until then. While fastening vests and getting ready to get on jet ski, an another lady came out and tried to recheck if my mom understands English, while speaking in a speed that is not slow enough for my foreign mom to completely understand. Mom just got panicked so she refrained to answer, the lady just judged that she can't understand English at all, and just tore and threw her wristband away right from her wrist. My mom was frustrated after such unhappy experience, and the family's vacation has ruined very badly. Even if this confirmation is legally required, there must be much better way to ask. If the policies are to be followed that strictly, why did you made cheat sheet, attached publicly, and tell us to follow that? All of us felt the customer service way too rude and disrespectful. I could give 0 stars if possible, but I give 1 stars instead because I can't.

This is absolutely the place to go for your jet ski or pontoon boat rental. My wife and I rented jet skis and from start to finish they made the whole process smooth and simple. They have a huge riding area our instructor/guide Johnny was awesome.

Had an incredible experience. The jet ski’s are very stable, allowing for a very fun ride. Employees were fantastic. Customer service is top notch. Could not recommend this place enough!

SO much fun!!! This is our second year here in ocean city and we had to come back and jet ski again! This place is great, everyone is so helpful, safe and makes sure we all have a great time. This will always be our go to spot when we come down now!

PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE!!Booking & Staff -I am not sure how this place is not rated higher, but the staff was super knowledgeable, fast and got us out on time! The booking experience is a bit archaic (but simply pick up the phone and call - it’s not that hard lol!) Recommend the 4hr minimum for Pontoon. 2hrs isn’t enough at all.Pontoon Boat -Super Easy to drive. You do need to have common sense but anyone that drives a car should be good with this also. The boat itself is very nice and has Bluetooth connection so you can listen to tunes while boating.Boating Area -Very wide and expansive area to boat around. Map is provided for you before leaving, but you need to be good with directions otherwise you WILL get lost. There are spots where you can dock and jump in if you feel comfortable or just lounge.**Sandbars** - They warn you about this area and I should have payed a bit more attention. Following the narrow path to the Sandbar is not easy and many rookies got stuck, including myself. But I was able to get out, push the boat back a bit, raise the propellers and reverse out of that baby. Only thing is that I was paranoid the whole time I was in that area so I jetted outta there as fast as I could. Wish I could have gotten to the actual sandbar because people looked like they were having a blast.My family enjoyed this experience a ton and it will most likely be the first of MANY!

Excellent service!!! Been coming here for years and they continue updating their fleet. The staff is very helpful and we've rented both jetskis as well as pontoon boats. Both are an enjoyable time. Dont forget your fishing your crabbing gear. Cooler rental available as well as ice for sale. What else can I say?!?!?

The best in OC! The office staff is amazing and very thorough in explaining the overall experience. The Yamaha wave runners are top notch and the dock hands are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Bayside Boat and Jet Ski Rentals is a very professional and well run business, I can’t wait to rent with them again next summer!
