Store needs to be renovated . manager, grumpy. Good produce.
Parking lot is horrible filled with potholes. Nothing else in shopping center.

Reasonably priced items, others not so much. It’s understandable considering it’s a tourist town, I guess. Since last year, I’ve been having a problem being able to make an account with them. Their online system doesn’t work properly. Always errors. When I try to sign up, it says my account exists using a phone number or email, but when I try to log in, it tells me it doesn’t! It’s an infinite loophole. However, it’s your one stop shop. They have everything from food, groceries, essentials, to beach accessories. Customer service, Lee was super nice! She strived a conversation with me and it was lovely! Will be coming back though!

I can’t believe I’m writing this, but if you shop here just use the self-checkout if at all possible. The ladies at the register are so cruel and unkind. I’ve left the store in near tears twice now from two different cashiers. Love this Acme and have lived on this street for almost a year and visit it every week. It’s a shame they are so hateful. I wished one Happy 4th today and she said “what the hell is happy about it?” and then murmured to herself “happy fourth” and scoffed. Yeah, just use self-checkout if you come here and you’ll LOVE it! :) Loyal Acme member of 10 years.

Do yourself a favor and drive a few minutes down the road and go To Food Lion. The employees here are incredibly rude. Specifically, today was Lynn. I know it’s hard to get people to work these days and customer service is reeeeeeally lacking but Lynn takes the cake for rudeness! And an FYI to Acme, there are laws against false or deceptive advertising.

Very crowded isle hard to get cart through considering how busy the store is. Spend most of the time waiting and navigating. Busy store, not the issue. I get that . Employees stocking shelves standing talking . Had to ask 3 times nicely in the dairy aisle to ask to get to what I needed. They move but then just continue to chat away. I guess that with being a tourist area, no one cares about customer service. While checking out, when checking out, the cashier was wishing to bagger. He then started to bag and then disappeared . Went to self checkout first while starting to ring up my grocery. I had to move to a regular cashier because of more than 15 items. I might have had 20 items. What's the difference? I will not be coming back. Store dirty, poor customer service.

Note: the store closes at 9pm, not midnight. Nice grocery store that is a short walk from the Airbnb we stay at. Service is great, prices are a bit high as to be expected for its location. Very happy to have this place in OC when we visit and I hear that a new one will be built soon on the same property.

I had a very bad experience in Acme this morning. The price of pastry filling was 50 cents cheaper than what they were ringing up. When I said something to the cashier man, he was very rude and bothered by me. Then when I was leaving I said "I hope your day gets better" which lead to a huge verbal confrontation.
