Nice and clean. No frills place. When we arrived around 2:30 during the day the office was closed and you had to call a number to get the info on both rooms we reserved. A key for one and one a code for the door.

There was no heat in the room, small heater in the bathroom which was suffice. Could pay with cash, no credit card was needed for security.

Lovely motel right in the heart of Oakland. Great rates, had availability last minute. The cleanest motel I have ever stayed in. The owner and housekeeper went above and beyond to make us welcome. We were celebrating our anniversary and were greeted with a festively decorated room. Could not ask for a better place to stay.

Though I didn't actually stay there, I have been inside some of the rooms and they are very clean. The owner and staff work very hard towards making your stay a pleasant and memorable one.

We love this place. No non-sense, no frills place to stay that is clean and safe located in the town. The rooms and bed are comfortable. Clean showers and we use it almost every time we come to Oakland for our hikes and for the Autumn Glory Festival. We find it much cheaper than renting a Airbnb of course or one of the other properties. We are out and about so much we use it for a home base. Great owner, nice cleaning staff who care and keep and eye on the property.

Nice place to stay if you are willing to travel 9 miles outside of Deep Creek.Rooms: Motel was clean and well kept.

A very comfortable, dated motel with pleasant staff and excellent, spacious rooms. I felt very comfortable and safe staying there, and make sure to tell the owner thanks for his service to our country.My wife and I definitely plan to stay there again and thank you Oakland Motel for the excellent experience.!!!

Everything are clean and enjoyed the Western Cowboy room theme!. Brent was impressive to accompany me in the check in room to make sure Closed captioned TV available. In the room needs to have more lights, It is little dimmed. I suggested you replace the table between bed for more room iphone, water bottle and tv remote. space than current it was carefully and hard to reach when put on bottom. Please check the desk chair was loose. i sat on the chair by carefully before break it.Next time I check in and put us in different Theme!!!!thanksHazel

I would recommend this hotel! My family and I stayed here during thanksgiving holiday after another hotel did us wrong, we were in a bind, we’re from taneytown and was visiting family and needed a hotel to stay in since our family did not have the room for us, the owner was very nice and worked with us for us to be able to have somewhere to stay, the rooms were very nice and were cleaned every night before we returned, I would choose to stay here again if my family and I come up to Oakland again.

On a recent work visit i found this motel on Google. I was very impressed by the accommodation, very clean quiet and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The gentleman at the desk was extremely helpful and friendly.

Excellent location with super clean rooms. There is a kitchenette in the room and fast wifi that actually works. Staff is friendly and the check in was run by a Navy veteran who was super friendly and attentive.
