Pharmacy needs to get their stuff together. My meds are always inconveniently not ready at the same time. Then there tends to be minute waits turn into 45 minutes.

The pharmacist this morning (2/5/24) provided the most friendly, caring and speedy service to guarantee the wellness of my extremely sick mother!!

The Walgreen's at 8650 Belair Road in Perry Hall is awful. It wasn't perfect pre-pandemic, but it was tolerable as long as you didn't need to "bother" an employee or manager to answer a question. Every time I've tried to use the drive-thru, it's down due to "technical issues". It was understandable during the pandemic with Covid testing, lock downs and illness, but it hasn't improved very much since. The pharmacy hours are inconsistent (they close earlier than the posted times); one of the pharmacists loudly discusses your medication out loud in public without provocation, (I had to ask why they couldn't find a med they said was ready but wasn't, and for some unknown reason she loudly blurts out the name of a previous medication I was no longer taking - wondering about a HIPAA violation there). Hold your lunch on this one...the last time I was there the technician at the window was scratching some part of himself under his clothes and proceeded to handle prescription pick up without washing his hands. The weekend of posting this comment, the pharmacy wasn't open to fill or pick up prescriptions from sometime Saturday and didnt plan to be until at least Monday. The National work outage in effect? No one could say. Does a pharmacist have an oath to patients - just wondering? Try calling to speak with someone

Terrible Terrible Service. Whenever I go to pick up prescriptions for my family; they either have no one at the drive thru window or a huge line with no one available to assist. The customer service is awful and painstaking. I regret my insurance changing which changed my preferred pharmacy. CVS way better.

I don't know what happened to this store but all of a sudden it's impossible to get through to pharmacy. They're slow to fill a prescription, screw up all the time and it's impossible to call. Every time you call there are always three people or more in front of you and it never seems to get better even if you wait an hour or more.I gave up and started going to another Walgreens, avoid this one at all costs!

Photo printing computers here are awful. I used to really like this store but not after having to spend 30 minutes waiting for a computer because the store only has one that is IPhone compatible. The other computer was so slow that I had to sit waiting forever because it took an eternity to upload the other customer's photos.

First, to clarify the "delivery" banner, ironically one of the types of items Walgreens does NOT deliver is prescriptions. While I've had some ok experiences with Walgreens, when things go wrong they really GO WRONG, so take that into account in your decision-making. They have lost records of my rx's, billed my insurance company for rx's not filled (and to be fair, I don't KNOW for certain whether it was ever corrected, but certainly not before I had to make alternate arrangements with another pharmacy and my insurance company), and when I transferred my rx's to another pharmacy, they provided the info to the new pharmacy only for a couple SPECIFIC ones requested. Rather than keep the rest in their system or transfer all as I asked, they deleted them ALL. (Again, I want to be fair, so I'm unsure whether that was computer glitch or them, but either way, by not correcting it, that creates a huge hassle for patients when you expect the refills to be there and they've vanished). Just sayin'.

So irritated. All I wanted to do was to talk to someone to see if they had a product to save me a trip if they didn't. But they have a recording and there's no way you can get your questions answered or speak to someone.

This Walgreens is really close and fairly convenient to get in and out of. I always stop here if I need a last minute gift card since they have such a wide selection of various retail stores and restaurants. Tonight I got gift cards for Dunkin, Amazon and HomeGoods/TJ Maxx to complete gifts for 2 people. I use this location for my pharmacy and the drive thru option is really nice. The cashiers are always kind and never make me feel like I'm bothering them.

Good staff at the pharmacy, however the service is extremely slow to serve the indoor customers. I don't know how fast the drive through is. I shouldn't have to wait more than 45 minutes for an allergy prescription.

Emergency contraception available right on the shelf. Awesome! This makes it easier for people to access the contraceptives they need without having to ask a pharmacist.
