Failed me for an md state inspection after taking two days longer than expected. Took same car to AAA same day for same service and passed with flying colors. Rip off artists. Tried to negotiate $800 worth of work that wasn’t necessary. Stole $90 from me via inspection lies then went to see if there’s more to give.

First time using Perry Hall Auto & Tire Center. I have tried a few repair places since moving to this area. He came highly recommended from a friend and delivered in a timely manner. He, also, may have solved an electrical problem that I have had for years that no one else could figure. We'll see how that plays out since it's a sporadic problem. But he's my new go to guy.

They charged me $500 moré making the total $2300. And when I went to get an oil change after the fix, down by me in Laurel MD, the part that perry hall fixed was leaking. I called and all they said was bring it back to the shop. A big no. My time and money isn't worth getting shotty work done again. Thanks but no thanks. I'll go to professionals from now on.

This shop has talent, fair prices, and no BS. They have done a fantastic job on my SUV a couple times now. Very nice guys. Night drop-off is a great option too.

We chose this shop due to its proximity to our home and the high recommendations we received. My wife was experiencing rear turbocharger issues with our car, so we brought it to Perry Hall Auto & Tire based on their assurance that they could fix the problem. Initially, the staff seemed friendly and willing to assist, but that's when the problems began.Originally, we were told we could pick up the car within 2-3 days. However, we received a call stating that the car wouldn't be ready on the original date and would instead be available for pick up on July 5th due to a backordered part and the holiday. July 5th came, but the car was still not fixed, and they didn't provide us with a new date. Eventually, we received a call on Friday informing us that the car was ready for pickup.I went to collect the car, made the payment, and drove off. However, upon arriving home, which is just 2 minutes away from the shop, I noticed a crack in the windshield on the passenger side. Upon further inspection, I also discovered that a bracket had been repaired using duct tape due to it being cracked during the repairs. This was extremely disappointing, so I immediately contacted the shop to address these issues.I spoke with Ray, who assured me they would rectify the problems and cover the cost of retinting the windshield. On Monday, July 20th, I took the car back to the shop as the windshield was on backorder. Ray informed me that he was on vacation but assured me that Tony would take care of everything and ensure the completion of the repairs. However, when I dropped off the vehicle, Tony informed me that there were several cars ahead of us and they wouldn't be able to work on our car that day. While this was somewhat understandable, it was around 4pm when I received a call stating that the car was now ready for pickup.Upon picking up the car, my wife immediately noticed that a bracket on the outside of the car was now damaged and split into two pieces. Additionally, the replaced bracket, which had been cracked during the repair, did not fit flush against the windshield, leaving large gaps. Tony then claimed that the bracket on the outside of the car had been broken prior to our car being dropped off, despite the fact that we had provided photos to Ray showing the undamaged bracket and indicating the type of windshield needed. I sent Ray a text message highlighting the new issues and expressing my frustration that more things were being broken in the process of attempting to fix others. On July 16th, the check engine light came on, and we received two error codes. To avoid any further damage by Perry Hall Auto, we decided to take the car to another shop for inspection. The new shop discovered a total of four codes on the vehicle: P0020, P0022, P0299, and P0068. The last two codes indicate an issue with Turbo Underboost. I've made several attempts to reach out to Ray to have these issues resolved, but unfortunately, I have not received a response.Needless to say, based on this experience, we have decided that we will never use this company again.Service: Engine repair

Very Shady....DO NOT Use them. I had my brakes done here. He charged me for Rotors and Brakes. He never replaced the rotors he charged me for. This is clearly not a new rotor.

I want to start by saying my car was worked upon in a timely fashion, but I am very disappointed by the final result. I also may add an amendment to this review, I was hoping to include the answer to my emailed question regarding the work performed. I brought my car in to the shop, "with a major oil leak I could actually see happening every time I added oil, leaking badly right below the oil intake hole. And said the car needs to last another 3-4 weeks so nothing needs fixed unless it will lead to the car exploding, crashing, or dying before then." Based on my description, and I assumed their visual inspection of where it leaks when you add oil, they said that the leak is coming from the valvecover gasket and they would replace it. They said, "to make sure we are getting all the leaks we will need to steam clean the engine because it is covered in oil." I declined the cleaning because the car only needed to last another 3 weeks, and the shop said the gasket replacement would solve the major leak I saw. So the shop replaced the gasket and also changed my oil because they said, "the only in the car was black."When I picked the car up I asked the man behind the counter, "Will the car make it another 3-4 weeks?" He looked at what was done and the recommended maintenance and said, "yes, it should make it that long."I then drove the car from the shop to 7-Courts in Perry Hall, and from there that same afternoon to Loch Raven Reservoir. On the way back from Loch Raven the engine shut off on 695 with an error message saying the engine has lost oil pressure. I had it towed to my house and checked the oil to find it was empty. I added oil, and watched it pour out of the engine directly under the intake hole JUST like it did before the shop "fixed the major oil leak." I then walked back to the shop and looked at the spot my car was located when I picked it up, and found a large oil stain in the parking spot, quite possibly from the oil leaking out of my car. I emailed the shop with my concerns about the work this morning and got this in reply, "As I explained to you before the work was done we had to replace the valvecover gasket , clean the engine and recheck for leaks. You did not authorize the enine clean so there was no way to be sure the oil leak was completely fixed. If you want to return the car we can clean the engine and recheck the oil leak. Ray Brehm"My issues are as follows:1. My car still does not hold oil, and the major leak is in the same location, right below the intake hole, that I described prior to the work being completed. What leak was actually fixed then, where did you see this leak occuring?2. How was this MAJOR flow of oil out of the engine NOT noticed, the cleanliness of the engine does not mask the oil flowing out of the engine. I am not a mechanic and I can see it as plain as day.3. The shop changed my oil, it would be pure negligence for someone putting multiple quarts of oil into the car to NOT see the oil leaking back out. 4. If a car is brought to a shop for a major oil leak, and oil change, does the shop NOT double check after these things are completed that the car is still holding oil? In this case how was the leak not noticed, because I can see it happening in real time, and the oil stain on the concrete where my "fixed" car was parked at the shop. 5. At the barest of minimums based on what has happened, I do not believe I should have to pay for the oil change and oil leak fix. Here is a follow up (the shop did not reply to the message above, or my follow up email.) They changed my oil after they fixed a major oil leak below the oil intake hole, and on the drive after I picked up my car from their shop the engine seized up because it was out of oil. They claimed it, "was not their fault because I did not allow them to steam clean the engine to allow them to see any other leaks." Here is a video of me adding oil, like they did after they fixed the leak, a day after my car's engine seized up after leaving t

I wasn't exactly looking forward to paying over 500 bucks to have the thermostat in my Jeep Cherokee replaced as soon as I moved from Texas to Perry Hall, but it happened. I am glad I was able to pay that to PHA&TC though. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and fixed the problem quickly.I should add, that 500 bucks was 200 bucks cheaper than what another service center quoted me for the repair.Since I live here now, I might as well make them my go-to service shop.Service: Air conditioning
