This location is such a friendly gym, staff is so nice & exceeds expectations! Marissa gives a warm welcome on Sunday mornings! Wouldn’t want to have my fitness journey anywhere else :)

Joined this gym in October 2023 and was offered a "free" personal training session. I arrived happy for my free personal training session. Stephen gave a sales talk on personal training then gave me fitness tests. After that he took me back to the desks and gave me the bad news - I am out of shape. Duh! That's why I joined the gym. Then he proposed that I sign up for personal training at 60 dollars an hour three times a week. When I told him no way was that in my budget. He told me to cut back on my expenses- maybe cut back on take out meals. Never was that mentioned in our earlier discussion nor did I share that eating out frequently was a habit. He assumed. I was not pleased. I advised that I was really looking for a simple routine of exercise and the pool would be best for my joints. Stephen essentially told me that cardio was worthless and would not meet my weight loss goals. I did not share weight loss goals. I shared health goals. Pain relief, stamina and mobility are my health goals. I could stand to lose weight but that is not the big focus. He brought that up multiple times. Not only was he a poor listener but obviously felt like I needed to lose weight and that met his agenda for recruiting personal trainer clients. It was a terrible experience and it put me off that location. Another thing is that the pool is frequently cold and there is no hot tub or sauna to warm up in.

I love my gym!I’m the kind of person that reads through all the reviews and does her due diligence before deciding. I tested out two other gyms (Forze and LA Fitness White Marsh) before committing to this one. I read a couple of bad reviews and decided to check it out anyways. As others have mentioned the newness of the equipment and cleanliness is a major draw. It has all the equipment you could want. It has doubles or more of the most popular equipment so that even at a busy time you can use everything you need. The way everything is laid out and the entire vibe of the place is what sold me as soon as I did the tour.This location has a great vibe as far as not feeling overly intimidating. I would say it’s very multigenerational and a space that anyone can feel comfortable no matter your level of training or age.In reference to the bad reviews, I’d like to help correct some misinformation. (1) About Haneen Rababa: I have not met that person so she must not be at this location any more. Jen, the current GM is so sweet and strikes me as a very honest and helpful person. She’s the one you should talk to about any questions relating to a contract. (2) The other bad review about Stephen: I will say he is just a trainer, not a manager. I didn’t have the best impression of him either as a previous reviewer noted. I don’t have a trainer but if that’s what you’re looking for there are other trainers there that seem to have a good client base, are friendly, and very knowledgeable.All in all I have to say that I absolutely love my gym! You’ll see what I mean if you check it out.

I've been going here for a few months and I thoroughly enjoy this gym. The staff is awesome and personable. Everything is well taken care of. I mostly just use the heavy bag and machines post injuries, but it's all excellent there. If you want bigger and more variety of equipment and amenities, the Town Center Dr location is just as good. A bit more gritty old school gym feel to it, but it's also a great gym.

Just sharing my experience:I came to this gym with my father during the month of November, visiting from out of town. After I signed up, I was given the normal tour and of course I was told about the personal training program. After telling the manager, Stephen (Steven idk), that I am from out of town, he reassured me that I would be able to cancel due to the fact that I lived out of town. All I would need to do is show proof that I lived out of town. This was on November 15, 2023. I then proceeded to purchase this program, and as I read the contract, Stephen reassured me that we would work out the cancellation. On November 29, 2023 I let Stephen now that I would like to cancel the membership as my flight to Northern California (where there is no LA fitness near me) was on December 3rd.This is where Stephen revealed his true form. His tone changed and he added a stipulation that they may not cancel if there is an LA fitness near me (There isn't). So I went to the Wells Fargo to get a bank statement so that I could have him put it on my file, but I began to immediately feel bamboozled. This man definitely lied to me to get me to sign up for the program. Which is going to automatically withdraw money from my account every month for 6 months. I know I shouldn't trust these people, and now I am telling you so you don't.I called their customer service management line and the person told me that they do not have a policy where they cancel due to relocation. This was completely made up. It has now been 2 weeks and I can not get a service member on the phone and Stephen is dodging me. Looks like I was just a part of his quota!To do this to someone during the holidays is messed up and will skew my thoughts as I should be able to leave this contract. But NO I am just another story of a poor sap who was taken advantage of.I will proceed to leave this review wherever I can to warn people to NOT TRUST OR EVEN TALK TO THE MANAGERS AT THIS LOCATION.Good equipment and facility. Terrible people.

I got here for the pool and the treadmill. The treadmills have modern televisions and connections.You can use your smart watch too connect to the treadmill to track you progress.The locker rooms are very large and accommodating.They also have tons of classes too. You can get access to other locations with certain memberships. I go to the Towson location too.

I just recently , rejoined La Fitness and I must say, if you ever need help or have questions, please ask for Matt. He was kind, knowledgeable and very helpful to my daughter and myself. So happy to start my new journey at this location

New facility so there aren’t many issues with equipment. However, this location lacks a basketball court, hot tub, and sauna so I was very disappointed.

Unlike most LA Fitness, this gym so far seems to really care about cleanliness. That Towson LA fitness is a disgrace, but I'm pleasantly surprised that this one has its stuff together.And their Trainer Isaiah is a real deal trainer With lots of knowledge about everything and willingness to share his knowledge regarding the working out.By far the best La fitness in Baltimore and the surrounding counties, let's pray it lasts!!!!!

This is my favorite gym because is new and clean i have seen this guy always cleaning the treadmills with the mop to remove dust and sweat. Overall gym is clean cuz is new right. But I’m giving 3 stars cuz there is not sauna and this is the main reason why I joined LA Fitness nothing better than end workout with sauna. But sadly this gym doesn’t have one ?. I love that they have plenty cardio equipment like stair master there is 7 which is great i been in other LA Fitness only 4 stairs master available and you must wait for it. But please build a sauna in this gym.
