Great experience at Horizontal Motors! I would highly recommend them to anybody who needs an honest, trustworthy mechanic to fix any problems with your vehicles. Awesome, theCheck engine lights went on and the dealer had appt in 2weeks. The owner called me back n said come over. He found n fixed the issues. within ten minutes. I now know where to go you when the warranty expires

Another shop recommended a clutch replacement for my Impreza with a heafty price tag of $1700. These guys took a look and recommended bleeding the system first. About 30 minutes later I had the car back and it's working great. An honest shop with knowledgeable staff. I'll be taking my car to them from now on. Would definitely recommend!

FANTASTIC!!! I was expecting to replace my transmission as advised from another place. The car was diagnosed and fixed without having to! Great service and attitude. I'll be giving them all my mechanical business in the future.

I had a phenomenal experience. I was referred by a well known and respected local machine shop. Androw the owner is honest, professional , and extremely knowledgeable! He worked with me to explain throughly and I am overjoyed to plan my second project with Androw. An MR 2. I hope to have many projects with Androw over the coming years!

This is long but worth the read. Horizontal Motors replaced the engine in my 2013 BMW X3. It took over 5 weeks and I was charged well over what was discussed. When I received the vehicle I noticed a squeak in the steering wheel. At first didn't think much bout it. Brough the vehicle to another repair shop because Horizontal was too expensive for the front end work I was having done. The other repair shop told me the squeak was a damaged steering shaft. Hence the replacement of the engine just a few weeks before. The repair shop told me there was an oil leak. I brought it back to Androw at Horizantal Motors. He conformed there was a leak. Again just had him replace the engine. When I spoke to Androw about the oil leak I asked him, shouldn't that gasket have been replaced when you replace the engine? He told me yes, snickered and said I just didn't do it. He then told me the cost is almost $300 for he not replacing the gasket. He should fix this at his expense , not mine. Androw told me that you ALWAYS replace gaskets on a BMW, even if the existing one look good. What did he do? He didn't replace this gasket and now I have an oil leak. On November 30, 2023 the coolant hose disengaged and I lost all the fluid in my engine. Now, let me explain how the hose fits in. It snaps in and has a metal bracket that one presses down onto the hose which disables the hose from disengaging. It is a protective measure BMW has so the hose will not separate. One of the mechanics at Horizontal Motors didn't secure the hose causing this disaster. It could have damaged the entire engine. I drove to an auto Zone to purchase coolant thinking it was just low. It poured out like a faucet. I had to have the vehicle towed. Cost me $170.00. They didn't charge me to fix this because they knew it was their error. I told the mechanic I want to be reimbursed. I was told Androw would get back to me. He never did. I waited 5 days, nothing. Only after sending him an email out lining all these issues did he finally call me. His message hostel, belligerent, arrogant, condescending and lacking any accountability. I should mention I had him work on my 2001 For explorer. For 22 years I owned this SUV, through many mechanics in many states, cities and towns. Not one of them ever damaged the hood latch on this vehicle. Guess who did! They did a good job replacing the engine I have to say. But, these other issues that are clearly a product of the engine being replaced. Take responsibility!

Horizontal Motors is amazing!!!! Brought my car here after another mechanic told my i needed a new transmission and radiator and as soon as Horizontal saw it they knew it needed neither. They repaired it fast and at a great price. It is running better than ever. I'm so happy will take all business there!

Came here because of the good reviews and do not regret it. As a woman, it can be intimidating going to repair shops but that was not the case here. They listen to your concerns and are very honest.
