so today my bank account was over drafted due to a charge hitting. When this account was set up with Baltimore county savings bank over 30 years ago it was unable to be charged if the funds were not available. so I call them to figure out what is going on and they pretty much told me I'm delusional and the account never denied any charges ever as there is no sort of protection against over drafting an account. this obviously upsets me and I use a couple expletive's to which they hang up on me and then refuse to answer my calls for the next couple hours. suffice it to say as soon as I'm able I will be terminating my account with this horrible institute.

This is the worst bank I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. Everything was going great until they purchased Howard and my account. This bank closes whenever they feel like it seems, lets the calls ring on hold for 30-60 mins(I once drove to the bank on hold, to arrive to an empty lobby), locks your card every other month or cancels for fraud case you bought coffee at a different spot than usual. I would've gone back to BoA if I knew it would be this horrible. Closing my account next week.

Some of the staff is friendly but they just let the phones ring here. I’ve been on hold for 45 minutes without talking to anyone until I gave up. I understand if they were understaffed but they aren’t.

I went to open a business bank account and I was told by rude employee that I need an appointment even though no one was there. Not worth it waste your time here.

This is the worst FNB branch in Maryland. I have been to several FNB banks and they are by far the worst when it comes to customer service. The tellers are not very friendly at all except to people they know. All people are not treated the same and the branch manager doesn’t help either. The wait is always ridiculous in the bank and drive thru even though they have at least 3 employees they still can not move the customers timely. Please work on the customer service at this branch. I will not be back to this branch ever again.

Worst bank ever. Don't try calling they never answer the phone. Literally was on hold for an hour then disconnected. Decided to drive to the bank while on hold not one employee was on the phone nor were they busy. So there was no reason why they couldn't answer the phones. Terrible customer service.

Absolutely unprofessional. We came from Howard Bank, and after this last month dealing with this bank we are closing our account. My online account gets hacked, after waiting on hold for an hour I get someone who can’t verify the emails sent to me were official. The only thing she can do is shut me out of my online access forever and close my debit card. Today I go into the bank, I’m trying to do all this explaining at the teller window inside the bank with multiple conversations going on around me. I should have been taken into a mangers office. I’m then told I don’t really have to close the account I just can’t have online access “for a while” ok so I literally can’t check my account online. No thank you. I’m also told in so many words “did you click on Norton anti virus? Maybe they have your username from somewhere else. This will also happen at M&T (the bank I was switching too). It’s an absolute unprofessional and toxic environment. 0/10 do not recommend.

changed over from Howard and my account is not working for my paychecks. I've been calling for days and no answer, holding for 30 minutes. No one answers the phone.

Horrible customer service. I am a former Howard bank customer who was also with first mariner bank when Howard bought them very smooth transition . Now They are now FNB as of the 7th. . I have been trying for 3 days to get someone on the phone. On hod the entire day yesterday and Wednesday and nobody answered. This morning I’ve been on hold for almost 2 hrs. Can’t go into the branch because I’m ill. FNB charged my account overdraft fees during the transition while i didn’t have access to make a transfer to avoid it. I have multiple accounts there and thinking it may be best to change to a local credit union. I called a local branch in pa but they said I had to deal with the branch the accounts were originally opened at. Way to help a customer I even messaged FNB online and no reply. This is the worst way to treat a new customer that has had accounts at Howard for 10 years.

In an age when customer service matters more than ever, FNB seems to have none. As a small business owner, I took out a loan from FNB and it is absolutely the worst company to ever work with. If you are working with Mike Galeone and Shaune Erdman from the White Marsh office in MD, think again. They will run away at the first sign of trouble and deceive you into signing punitive terms for your small business loans. I do not recommend any prospective customer working with FNB or anybody working for the company. If you want to know more about my experience, feel free to reach out to me directly.

I've never had so much trouble with a bank in my whole life. The staff is wicked and foul never help get anything accomplished I'm certain they gave me issues based on whatever judgements they had about me. They intentionally froze my account for what reason I have no idea but I went to the city branch and they fixed the issue quickly and kindly.. stay away from this branch they are no good rude unhappy folk

I stopped by the bank to deposit a check. When I entered there was one teller on the phone, and the manager in her office speaking with someone. The teller on the phone did not acknowledge my presence to say she will be with me in a minute, instead she kept on talking on the phone as though I weren't there. This went on for a couple of minutes when another teller emerged from a side room pointing to the one on the phone saying "she will be with you in a minute." (I don't know why the teller form the side room couldn't have help me). Still no acknowledgement from the one on the phone or the manager of me standing there waiting. I waited standing a couple of more minutes and finally turned around and left, thinking the manger would come out to get me. No one came out, and they let me get away. This is poor customer service.
