My twins have really enjoyed PLMCC. The teachers there are very patient and caring and brought the best of both of them. I like the fact that they have a clear daily routine for children to follow so it’s also easier to follow the same at home. My kids have learned a lot, both in Chinese and English. It is a great school.

Great school! The teachers here are very loving and caring. I got recommended by a friend whose child went there more than 10 years ago. My daughter is there since 2 years old, and I can tell that she is being nurtured and had made great development both mentally and academically during the year she has been there, let alone being bilingual. This is a school I would proudly recommend to anyone.

My sister’s kids used to go to PLMCC about 15 years ago and recommended me to the daycare. I was on a long waitlist and was lucky someone dropped out due to change of plan because of the pandemic. My son and I have very positive experience there. The owner and staff are very friendly and attentive to each kid’s need. You can rest assured that your kid is in a safe environment. Also, my son learned so much from there in addition to having a valuable social life. I can see his continuous improvement over time. The owner is very open minded and would address parents’ concerns in a timely manner in a reasonable way. I have a younger kid and already signed him up on the waitlist to attend the daycare in the future. Overall I highly recommend PLMCC to others.

My younger one is still here while the older one is already graduated. Couldn't be more happier about the experience. We tried several daycares and PLMCC is without a doubt the best. I was initially skeptical about home daycares, but sending my little ones here turned out to be the best decision. I just wish I could do it earlier. All the teachers are patient, engaging, and compassionate. To be honest, I never saw any teacher scold a kid. They are also good listeners and communicators, never having a single issue over communication. What impresses me the most is that teachers always put kids in the first place, no matter on normal days or during the COVID pandemic time. With around 1000 sq ft in-door area and large outdoor playground, kids get enough room for both indoor and outdoor activities. My kid always comes home with some paintings/creative arts and a big smile on her face.If you can't tell the difference between scolding and gentle reminders, this is NOT for you. If you are looking for a Montessori school with established ground rules, and meanwhile full of love and care, this is for you. If you want your kid to be overindulged and self-centered, this is NOT for you. If you want your kid to build social skills, form friendships, and know how to support each other, this is for you. If you wanna micromanage teachers to do things in specific ways, this is NOT for you. If you want your child to become more independent and learn to advocate for himself/herself, this is for you.My older one will be in K next week. She is academically and mentally ready. I have really good experience with PLMCC and would recommend it to anyone without reservation.

Thank God for PLMCC, Mrs. Chang and her team! I and my husband like to write down this to express our appreciation especially at this week which my girl is about to go to college. Both my girls were fortunate to be PLMCC students. What they learned there besides academic matters a lot to them even till this day. While making friends, interacting with PLMCC dedicated caring teachers, my daughters learned how to properly express their needs and wants, discipline, obedience, teamwork, be considerate and be kind. Some treasurable fun moments are annual Christmas party, Summer Picnic. Mrs. Chang has strong passion for early childhood education and always has brilliant ideas in motivating children to chasing after their dream and passion. She is very knowledgeable, wise, encouraging and fun to be with. Definitely a fine individual we highly respected and like a lot. Even after they graduated from there so many years, my kids are still enjoying dropping by during her non-working hours just say hi and chatted with her from time to time or volunteering for her Summer camp. While the new semester is about to start, I like to wish PLMCC a continue success and be a blessing to kids in our community.

My son was stayed there during the pandemic. Mrs Chang is very patient and smart. She loves kids very much. She teaches kids a lot of knowledge, My son often said that what he learned in public school was too simple, he know everything in this day care. Thanks PLMCC.

This is a great school and I highly recommend it! Both of my daughters graduated from PLMCC, and they enjoyed every day at the school. They both made friends there, they never complained about the teachers, and they were always excited to go to school everyday.

Note that the other positive reviews from parents are from Chinese parents. The overall culture of this place is more suited to traditional Chinese child-rearing, which emphasizes collective obedience and rule-following.This is not a western-styled Montessori school, despite their marketing. Kids are told to perform an activity, often on camera, and scolded if their attention strays to another toy. "Music class" is listening to Cocomelon songs on Ipad. The children are scolded if they rest their head on table while doing schoolwork, or touch their feet while eating. Lunches are bologna sandwiches on 50% of days. Teachers regularly give candy to crying children. The entire space available for 12 kids to eat, sleep, and play is around 400 sq ft. Teachers set up beds right beside tables where they eat, and after lunch, children are forced to do a 90 minute mandatory nap, no matter how old they are. Those who are not tired are scolded if they make a sound or if they leave their bed.We were looking for a more Montessori-style environment where children would have freedom to choose their own activities and explore at their own pace. This is not that kind of place. If you are looking for a low-cost, no-frills Chinese-language daycare where children will be quizzed on math and reading on a daily basis, this is for you. If you are looking for a more creative Montessori environment where children's intrinsic desire to learn through play is fostered, this is not the place.

Excellent daycare. My daughter spent 3 years there. PLMCC prepared her well for kindergarten. Because of the learning environment that PLMCC has created for my daughter, she fall in love with reading. She reached the first grade reading level shortly after she started in Kindergarten. Highly recommended!

I strongly recommend PLMCC for any parents because we had a wonderful experience with the daycare. My son stayed there over 2 years, it’s amazing that he never had any issues, happy to be there and happy to learn and play. Picking up with smiles from his face and share the fun of his daily experiences. I can imagine how much they teach, all the kids learned knowledge, discipline and made friends. We made friends with families and teachers at PLMCC. As a parent, I I can’t find a better daycare like PLMCC. If you have experience with other daycares, you will definitely find out that PLMCC stands for all the best of your child. I am not sure what else I can tell as a parent. Of course, I am not telling PLMCC is fit for every kid, I just want to let everyone know that that’s my best choice for my kids.

My wife and I would highly recommend PLMCC. Our son spent more than 3 years at PLMCC and it was a wonderful experience. The teachers are outstanding. They are extremely kind and patient. My son learned a lot while he was at PLMCC, which made kindergarten very easy. It is a very popular school with a long waiting list. We applied when my wife was pregnant and we are so happy that we did it!

My oldest daughter is 3 years old and has been enrolled at PLMCC for over a year. I cannot emphasize how much she has developed because of PLMCC. Her behavior and intellect has drastically improved because of PLMCC. We just had a newborn and I have already told Ms Vivian to please save us a slot for her when she turns 2. I feel as if my daughters will be more than prepared for school. My family loves PLMCC.

We have sent both of our kids here. The teachers are friendly, work very hard, are attentive to the kid’s needs, provide daily feedback to parents with lots of videos/pictures, provides a variety of food for lunch, offers generous hours of 8:00am - 6:00pm, and does all of this at a very reasonable price that cannot be matched anywhere. Although more structured than more traditional Montessori programs, I consider this a positive as the learning is robust, and by preschool graduation the kids are able to read and perform math well beyond the MCPS Kindergarten curriculum. PLMCC has a long wait list for a reason and a long established reputation. 100% recommend!

This is a very outstanding school that teaches kids based on their personality. I am grateful the my friend recommended this school when I was looking for daycare for my kids. I get to know a lot of nice parents through PLMCC and become good friends with them. We help each other through group chat on almost everything in our life. And what the kids learned here would help them easily go through the classes even up to the 2nd grade in primary school. I do not believe the teachers would scold any kid in the daycare. They are best teachers I have even seen, who are always nice and patient to kids, listen to them, encourage them, guide them to learn things, and most importantly, closely work with parents on positive discipline. I am always very proud to recommend this daycare to all my friends who are seeking daycares for their little ones.
