About PLMCC Day Care
Prairie Landing Montessori Children's Center (PLMCC) is the first English-Chinese bilingual Montessori pre-school in Maryland, founded in 2004. It accepts children between the ages of two and five. Parents describe it as a great school and without a doubt the best daycare. The teachers are consistently noted as very patient, loving, caring, compassionate, and engaging. They are attentive to each kid’s need, put kids first, and are good listeners and communicators. The owner and staff are friendly, open-minded, and address parents’ concerns in a timely manner. The school provides a safe environment with a clear daily routine. Children learn a lot, both in Chinese and English, and show great development both mentally and academically. They become more independent and build social skills and friendships. The facility includes a large outdoor playground and sufficient indoor space for activities. Kids often come home with creative arts and big smiles. Many parents have had very positive experiences, with some recommending the school for over ten years, and highly recommend PLMCC to others without reservation. The affiliated Shou Chu Organization also runs a bilingual summer camp for ages PreK to 5th grade, located at a public elementary school in the North Potomac area.

My twins have really enjoyed PLMCC. The teachers there are very patient and caring and brought the best of both of them. I like the fact that they have a clear daily routine for children to follow so it’s also easier to follow the same at home. My kids have learned a lot, both in Chinese and English. It is a great school.

My son was stayed there during the pandemic. Mrs Chang is very patient and smart. She loves kids very much. She teaches kids a lot of knowledge, My son often said that what he learned in public school was too simple, he know everything in this day care. Thanks PLMCC.

This is a great school and I highly recommend it! Both of my daughters graduated from PLMCC, and they enjoyed every day at the school. They both made friends there, they never complained about the teachers, and they were always excited to go to school everyday.
