Not a balanced hair cut. I asked the stylist for face framing long layers and what I received was a few layers on the right side and no layers (really, its just long straight hair) on the left side. She started using thinning shears towards the end of the hair cut which looks like a strange fringey strings of hair. It is really noticeable when my hair is up in a pony or a bun. The haircut looks haphazard, unbalanced and without structure.It seemed like from the very start the stylist was distracted by a client that came in after I was seated. The husband and wife along with another stylist were making a fuss that this was not her "usual" appointment time. And then my concern escalated when the stylist kept repeating several times that my hair "looks so much better". I just wanted a decent hair cut and instead I got something that I will either ask my husband or mother to fix.I gave her 2 stars bc she gave me some ok advice to get "Honey Highlights". Maybe somewhere else bc I won't be going back. And the blow out was nice, too.

Im totally upset with the hairstylist...booked my appoitment and wen i got there she kept saying she doesn't have time...ridiculous

I've only gone to Progressions for gel or dip powder manicure. All 3 times I received excellent service even when either the dremel or the UV for gel was too hot or uncomfortable. Moving to VA so will not be returning, but recommend either Nom or Celia for nails.

Progressions does such a good job everytime, they’re the only salon I fully trust with my hair. I usually just book with the first person available, since I know everyone there is so skilled. I have seen Iris, Ruth, Vanessa, and Trinh to name a few and have always left the salon loving my new haircut and always get so many compliments. I will be a lifelong customer

It took me 12 years to find a hairstylist in Vegas, but in just six months in Rockville, I found Vanessa. She's amazing, and I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a skilled stylist. Additionally, the salon and its staff are exceptional - calming, kind, and attentive. I genuinely look forward to each visit for the wonderful service and atmosphere.

Levi, Razieh and Iris are wonderful. I think anyone would be great here but these three are great. My Haircut, highlights and lowlights were done perfectly here.

The person who did my hair was very nice and skilled, just not enough for me, so it is difficult for me to write this review of how unsatisfied I am. My hair color is not what I requested, but it was communicated what would be done, and I agreed, so I would be OK with that if my haircut was at least acceptable, but it is not, it amazes me how much is unnoticed when they blow out your hair and it is not until you wash it that the truth comes out on how poorly it was done. I kind of had a feeling but hoped I was wrong because who really gets anything out driving so far, paying so much and writing a review of unsatisfation to wear their hair tied back because the haircut doesn't work...especially when we are all supposed to be spreading positivity. It's a terrible situation. The service in general that day was lacking, which was unusual from my previous experience. Really wanted to like it because of how nice the person was and the time she took in making sure the highlights and toner came out just right, but the haircut doesn't work. The vibe seems trendy, which adds to the disappointment.
