The minute clinic is very unprofessional. I took my son there because he started crying that his ear hurt (probably an ear infection)- we got there at 4:10 (clinic closes at 4:30) and all the doors were shut with the closed sign. I asked an employee if it was closed and she said it shouldn't be yet- she opened a door and there was the nurse...sitting on her butt, scrolling through her phone. I asked if she could see my son and prescribe him an antibiotic and she refused. Horrible service.

in Google maps it is indicated that minuteclinic are open until 7:30pm, they say they are open until 7pm, I arrived before 7pm but they had already closed

They’re lunch starts at 1:30pm, I got there at 1:28pm to pick up my daughters ear infection prescription and they said “sorry we are closed”. It’s so unprofessional how they all take lunch they should split their lunch hours. This pharmacy is absolute garbage, they also have no manners in communicating with their customers.

Absolute worst pharmacy ever. They take forever to fill any and every prescription (months) and when I call to try to figure out why they hang up on me.. I’m on the phone for the last hour and counting i’ve been hung up on 3 times.

My father was a pharmicist art People's Drug (parent company of CVS)and privately for 45 years! Never heard of a pharmacy closing for lunch! People may NOT have specific hours to get their meds!Plus service is horrendous at best!Shelves are always empty! No gud!

Nothing seems to be easy with this pharmacy. CVS in general has no consistent schedule. But this location in particular seems to have issues filling prescriptions when they say they will.And if you have some kind of issue with insurance (prior authorization, etc.) it will be hours out of your work day bouncing back and forth between insurance, your doctors office, and the pharmacy to get your prescription.

On 22 August 2023 the CVS on Rotary ave in New Market MD recieve a RX from my doctor. On 25 August I received a text message saying my medication was ready for pick up. When i went to pick it up on 25th i was told by the pharmacist Erica there was a fridge malfunction and they could not access the fridge to get my meds as the fridge temp had dipped BELOW temp the previous night and that the securiy manager had to clear the medication before she could release it.I called on Saturday 26 August to check the status and was told that I only had to wait 24 hrs and the medication would be cleared and able to pick up (on 27 Aug) On 27 August i went in to pick up the med and again the pharmacist Erica said she was unable to give me the medication and that what i was i told on 26th about being able to pick it up on 27th was incorrect. She also said she was going to cancel my existing on site order and submit re order so that she could get a new supply in. She cancelled my order. Monday 28 August the pharmacist called me and said the new order that she created on 27th was delayed as it was on backorder. I explained that my med does NOT need to be in fridge if unopened and asked if I could please pick up what they had in the frdge - that again if unopened the temp shouldnt matter. She agreed it didnt need to be in fridge if unopened and said yes i could come pick it up. We hung up with the understanding that i was on my way in to pick it up. A few minutes later Erica called back saying she (ironically) JUST heard from her (hard to reach for 3 days) security manager stating because the fridge temp ROSE ABOVE FREEZING (note that is a completely different story than the first, i.e the first story was that the fridge DROPPED in temp) the med was no good and had to be excessed. At this point we do not believ my med was even there on site and fully believe we are being lied to. So My husband went into the CVS branch and asked to see the box of meds just to verify it was in fact there on site, Erica refused. He also asked to get a letter in writing from her stating that my med was processed and ready for pick up however was unable to be picked up due to a malfunction on CVS part (fridge malfunction) however again, once more ERICA REFUSED!This is gross mismanagement and Ericas (the pharmacist) refusal speaks to poor customer service and a total lack of regard for patients needing meds.

Pharmacy is terrible. I called Saturday, was told my Rx would be ready Sunday (next day). Came Tuesday to pick up- not ready, and they provided no answer to why. Told me 15-20mins, I said I can’t wait around I was told it would be ready Sunday. They said they would “expedite it” but I can’t sit in line and I would get a text. Did not get a text but I called and was told my order was ready on the automated line. Walked in to get it, the other pharmacy staff told me (25minutes later) that it wasn’t ready. Needed another 15-20 minutes. He did not care that I already waited and was told it was already “expedited”. Went back in the drive through immediately. She put it together right away. I asked why it wasn’t ready be even the “non expedited” time. She had no answer. I saw her fill it in front of me. I believe I only got it because I was persistent or they would have kept holding off. I work with pharmacies every single day and CVS is the worst. Move your prescriptions else where if you can. I am normally very tolerant of what pharmacies go through because it’s not a fun job, but this was unfair. Especially as not a single person cared or seemed to “have the time of day” or any decency.

They made it seem like this was a normal cvs but it's in a target so if you wanna grab some meds get ready to wait 30 minutes to check yourself out since they have decided we work there and need to become temp cashiers.

Pretty much a good experience every time I go. Staff are always polite and helpful. Sometimes there is some miscommunication, but that is usually the CVS app’s fault not the pharmacy or it’s staff.

I typically don’t go out of my way to leave a bad review but I strongly dislike this pharmacy. Some of the pharmacists are very rude, can’t communicate kindly or thoroughly and they’re disorganized. It takes forever to get my medicine there. I’m filling my prescriptions somewhere else.

A few years ago, this location wasn't bad. Today its awful. Today was a great example. Was standing at pharmacy desk register alone. After several minutes, the riot gates began to come down. About halfway, a man in a COVID mask began mumbling, " we closed, go to lunch" and walked out of sight. I asked the cashier for the customer service number and to speak to the manager. Trey was his name. His response was lazy and apathetic. He sent the clerk back with the number and instructions for me to call it. I hope his next need somewhere gets the same attention.High turnover and incompetent management has been their reputation for some time.

The pharmacy takes forever if they even have your medicine. The head pharmacist is a complete b****, even talking about customers after they left. I’ve currently been on hold over 30 minutes just to check if my prescription is ready since I don’t want to go there and wait for hours. Make your life easier and go somewhere else.
