I’ve always come here ever since I was a toddler. The service is amazing!! I’ve never had any bad experiences when coming to this salon. I usually go to Fatty and she’s the BEST. She doesn’t braid my hair tightly ( bc I have a sensitive head ) and she is able to do all of the styles that I have showed her. I love this place very much and encourage all of my friends and family to come here when they want to get their hair done. 10/10 overall :)Services: Braids

I've been goin to fatty for 7 years now, her customer service is wonderful and she treats my hair as if i'm her child. she is careful and polite and communicates greatly. i will continue to go to her shop as her shop helped me grow my hair. if i could give 10 stars i would.

Came for my hair done showed picture of the hair I wanted . It was not done properly by the lady who did it I complained on multiple occasions. I couldn’t take carrying the awful braids that was done. I complained again and was asked to come in for my braids and it will be done again. I was instructed to pay half for my hair after complaining for an entire week. The hair was repeated and it came out fine however the braids in the back( the parting) were bigger than the front making the hair appear less full. I believe this is a scam as all braids should be the same shape and I should have not paid a dime. I will not be returning here and will find another hair braider.

Excellent service!!! A braider in Parkville did terrible braids and this place fixed my braids and made them look new.

If you want your hair braided nice and neat with same day service, then this is your place. Located right off the highway, Fatty Braiding will get you ready for vacation or whatever you need. I am get knotless braids and they are all braided with the same thickness.Service: Braids

Don’t go here. They braided my hair so tight I had to go to the emergency room for boils in my scalp. Terrible. I called her about it. She ignored me. She does not care about her customers only the money. Will never go to her again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I don't leave reviews but this establishment changed that. Let's see if I can make this short because I'm sure there's not enough words allowed on here. My 8 yr old's appt was at 2pm this past Sun 8/28 but she was not seen until 6pm, a day before school started. I texted a pic to fatty of knotless braids for my child & stated that I wanted no more than 10 braids, she gave me a price of $75 (VERBALLY) over the phone. I literally waited 4 hrs pass my scheduled time due to me cancelling my daughter's other appt with the Dominicans because I knew the style would not last long & everything else was booked w/ back to school being the next day. Had I known that I would've had to wait that long, I would've just went to the Dominicans. Fast fwd, before leaving my daughter at the shop I stayed to see how the lady who braided her hair would do. I was ok with the braid but I specified that I didn't want more than 10 braids due to it already being late and I wanted something quick to take out. S/N My gf who referred me called Fatty after I left & stated that she hope Fatty was going to give me a big discount for all the inconvenience that she caused & how upset she was that she referred me to them. After leaving my daughter there, I got a call from Fatty at 7pm stating that they'll be finish in 10 mins & I can head back. Got there at 7:15, my daughter wasn't ready until 8:20pm. I was disturbed because the braids were smaller than requested (nice but not what I asked for), even my daughter noticed it. Any who, at this point I was ready to go, it's late & I had my 6 month old baby out all this time with us. Once it was time to pay, Fatty gave me a price of $180, THATS RIGHT $180 when over the phone it was $75. Fatty stated that she took off $20 which brought it down to $160. She lost her ENTIRE mind & to top it off Fatty charges my gf $180 when she goes, which is way longer and smaller & you charge a child that ? So after I said I wasn't paying that & I'm only sending what I was quoted, she locked her shop door with me & my babies inside, calling me broke & saying that if I can't afford it just say that in front of 7 clients (5 of them were children). She said my daughter can sit down and they can take it out and was dead serious after I waited ALL this time. I told her I wish she WOULD touch my daughter's head. She said she was calling the police causing my 8 yr old to start crying because she thought I was going to jail. Finally somehow during Fatty & I arguing back & forth, my daughter was able to open the door, so we went outside of the shop & I told her that I would gladly wait for the police. She then proceeded to take her phone out & record me & my children after I asked her not too, saying how I'm broke, look this woman can't afford to pay for her stuff, she's a scammer... went & recorded my tags etc. Police pulled up & I gave my story. I showed them the pic that I TEXTED to Fatty of how I wanted my daughter's hair done, police ofc agreed that it was not what they gave me & stated that this was not their first time at Fatty's shop for something like this. He also told Fatty that due to my story, the pic that I sent her of the style I wanted & her not granting the style requested, she would not be getting $180. She even lied and stated that I asked for 3-4 cornrows despite the pic I texted to her phone SMH. Police officer told me to send her the $75 which was already sent via cash app after finishing my child's hair & prior to the police being called. She goes on to say, "she's african, I don't want to mess with her & she's going to pray an evil prayer about me." She told the police that I could've went somewhere else, I didn't have to stay there. I went to this place on March 7th,I wanted some pixie braids.First they said that nobody could do them,then I showed a picture and the lady said yea we do those,we don't call them pixies,let me call my boss and find out how much.. got off the phone and stayed $220 I agreed.I sat there for 10 hrs getting braids.One hour later the over Fatty came in and said $250 and I should know that,My thoughts was "No your workers should know that! Anywho, I work 2 job and I just wanted my hair done,I've taken off work to do so.Long story short she did a half a** job,I've been burning my ends once a week,my braid are shedding because she didn't clip the fly aways, Ms.Ghetto talked on the phone in my ear on her phone for 10hrs.Do NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!
