I agree with the previous review in that this location lacks customer service. The female cashier was very rude. Also the store smelled of rotten meat, and I don't think they sell any meat. . Will not return and I will encourage friends and family to steer clear.

This store doesn't stay open till 9pm. Change your hrs to 8pm. If I get there at 8:15p, he yells out, " I'm going home!"And that's that!!!!

Normally I try to stay on the positive when reviewing business establishments either privately or personally to managers. Because of my most recent purchasing outing however I will give a negative (mostly) reaction to my treatment as a local customer of this business. Im not sure what reason this shop ran out of regular sugar packets, but when I requested assistance with this from a man assumed to be either an owner or perhaps just the Sunday afternoon attendant, the answer of ""We have no sugar " was unsatisfactory. In my business (LiveWire Electrical Solutions) the saying stands as rule: "Your continued satisfaction is my bread and butter", furthering this goal and frankly I do see this as more than a convenience issue , my customers know that I will go to perhaps unreasonable lengths to achieve such. I offered the attendant the idea that indeed my request could be filled by opening a box or small bag of extremely high priced sugar to make his customer happy. Actually the answer was the problem. I would have excepted any number of responses including those polite ways of saying something that ultimately wouldn't "sweeten the deal" (sorry for the pun). Instead the response, as I held up evidence that the store contains a couple of options, was this: "So it would make you happy if I opened one of these and then had to throw it away, would making me spend two dollars on your coffee satisfy you?" Hmmm. Like the Washington Posts' advertisement goes "If you don't get it, you don't get it".....remember my friend, customers only want to feel welcome enough to open your doors and fill your pocketbook. But nobody wants to feel like your customers satisfaction comes behind the short sighted return on investment of wholesale items. Yes we customers appreciate the idea of convenience offered by a local business, and in terms of getting satisfaction I'll make a one block walk to the 7ELEVEN at Rhode Island near Eastern Ave. to make my "convenience store". I'm also a fair reviewer and might consider going back to deal with the woman attendant only, she and I understand so much more than you about correct treatment of valued customers. She's not only on top of her merchandise, but has what we call great F.O.P. (front office personality). She's your closer at night during the week and you should promote her to keep her satisfied. These are tough times for foreign owners, many customers are waking up to the fact that we wont put up with your "money is everything attitude" and demand more than simply being able to barely communicate in English at the cost of poor customer service. Thank you for reading. KL Our American ideal is dwindling and has apparently been distilled DOWNWARD by business owners or managers to how much can I make from daily decisions.
