“Stopped here for lunch and I was very delighted with the taste and quality of the item I ordered.Everything was fresh and made with simple ingredients. I ordered soup and a leek & rice salad. Both items were delicious.The dining hall that Green Almond Pantry is located in can get busy during lunch, so heading there just before 12:30pm or after 1:30pm seemed to avoid the crowds.”

“Went in and looked around. Not much of a store front but that's because they supply many of the restaurants in the area. Coolers full of vegan protein options. Drummies, vegan shrimp, steamed buns, and more in the big coolers you have to ask about. They are only open to the public Saturday 1-6. Worth a visit to stick up the freezer.”

Their prices are often higher (than at Giant, Whole Foods, Safeway, even the next door Streets Market), but...they carry the food brands we like, and they remained open - with a smile and friendly spirit - through many hard times (pandemic, power losses, and snow storms). They know my name, inquire about the health and well-being of family, and the whole team has earned my respect and trust.”

“I freely admit, my visit to GNC was a fact finding mission to see if they were comparable, or, more so, cheaper than CVS across the street. They were!But, that's not what sold me. I'm not the kind of person who seeks help immediately upon entering a store. First, if I'm not a committed purchaser, I don't want to take a clerk away from their business. I prefer to stumble through a place figuring it out on my own then to be a nuisance to somebody if I'm not a guaranteed customer. As soon as I walked in, a young lady with very pretty eyes immediately approached me and asked if she could help. She had kind eyes (the rest of her face was hidden behind her mask) And I could see that she sincerely wanted to be of service. So, I had her guide me through the different selections of the supplements I was looking for. Surprisingly, she knew--concluded--Why I was seeking those specific supplements, and offered several options that I had not considered.I was not intending to be a customer. But, her willingness to help and her sincerity won me over. And now I guess they are stuck with a customer who will return expecting to have the same service every time. Apparently, I'm still vulnerable to a pretty face!#TodaysDiscovery”

“Glut is great! Glut is the best place to buy organic foods, or bulk items when you only need a little of something. I bought some rice for an essential oil aromatherapy bag I needed to fill. I had the bag and oils at home, but no rice. I also bought whole wheat flour to make dog biscuits. I had white, cake, and self rising flour, but no whole wheat. I got what I needed without buying products that would go to waste. I love the vibe of this Co-op. The employees are great. Too bad my school in nearby Riverdale is being demolished and I have been relocated to Landover. I guess I will be by on Saturdays now until my school is rebuilt.”
