This local convenient place has a large inventory with a variety of brands and styles. The number of hair pieces and amount of hair extensions is commendable. However, unfortunately this morning I witnessed a young staff member decide that another customer's behavior of raising her voice to be heard from the back of the store was acting as if she were "on a playground." The staff member responded to the customer's question, "I can't hear you." and in a slightly lower voice added, "We're not on a playground" and did not move to help the customer, or ask another staff member to go help the customer. A few minutes later when the woman called out, "Excuse me." and asked for help, the staff member came from behind the counter and as she walked toward the customer said, "What?!" and rolled her eyes. When I told that same staff member that I was not going to buy my products and leaving because I'd witnessed her unprofessional approach, she defended her actions saying that people shouldn't come into a store screaming at the employees. She also warned me not to scream at employees when I go into a store. The customer was not screaming. She raised her voice to be heard. Employees are human and are going to be annoyed by people - that's a given. Yet, professionals still serve with a smile unless the customer's behavior is outrageously nasty and disrespectful. But this customer was not speaking loudly in a rude, mean, or even ultra demanding way. She was speaking loudly to be heard. Good customer service is going to the customer to help them fulfill their needs when it's clear that they need help-not demanding that they come to you to ask a question if they're in the back of the store. I'm truly disappointedthat customers are still being treated this way in these type of beauty supply stores. That store has been there for decades, paying for the owners' and employees' livelihoods and yet, the treatment is still as though we are being done a favor. Perhaps the employee was having a bad day-we all have them. I truly hope that was an anomaly.

Don't recommend this place. The young African woman is clueless to the hair industry and Black American styles. She told me that the saga hair & the Q hair was the same & the same price. The item didn't have a price and was the last curl pattern for that brand. The cashier Korean lady said the Q hair was blended and not the same because the saga was human. The helper don't know what she talking about. I was livid that she would say blended hair was the same as human . Then the helper tried to up sale me when if she had common sense she would have observed that I didn't want anything that she suggested that's why I had the saga hair that I've used before? Anyway get someone who knows about hair with good customer service Not doing shady business recommending bad hair causing u bad reviews. I'll go to Minnesota Ave by the Subway next time.

I love how they greet you once u walk in and once I can’t find something they notice and immediately help me and give me advice and personal recommendations on products . They are Very professional and helpful and kindhearted ☺️

Which I could give them zero stars. I purchased a multifunction waver on Sunday, June 5th, when I got home, it wasn't working. Because I bought it 5 minutes before the store closed, I could not return it, so I returned it on Monday, June 6th. When I got there they told me no return or exchange on electronics, weaves, and multiple stuff. So now not only do I get stuck with an unused not working waver iron but I lost all my money. I had to throw it in the trash. My advice to anyone shopping here, please be careful when buying anything. Ask if the item can return or be refunded. The cash was so mean, no even attempt to help with the item. No sympathy. I was hoping even to get a store credit

I dont feel comfortable shopping here.. I have lived in this area for 25 years and i don't like the feeling of someone looking over my back. This morning I went to look for all natural hair products and ..NOT ONE GREETED ME OR ASKED IF I NEEDED SOME HELP. They were more watching me then anything. I will tell my family and friends about this. We will no longer shop at this location.
