We got our 9 week old German Shepherd from VonDanSu Shepherds in October 2022 and our experience was excellent. The owners were very professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Since getting our pup, we’ve reached out to the owner, Susan, several times with questions and she’s been very patient and willing to help. Just this week I randomly reached out to her asking for some training advice for our now 1.5 year old shepherd (we hadn't spoken in over a year) and she was quick to respond and offer a phone call.Our shepherd is extremely intelligent, sweet, cuddly, playful….and energetic. Like every dog, she has her quirks that we’re working through (especially as first time GSD owners) but overall, we’re very pleased with her personality as well as the transparency of the breeders. My husband and I have nothing negative to say about these breeders and fully recommend them to anyone looking for a GSD. One of our friends actually wound up getting one of the pups from the same litter as ours and has also had a positive experience.

I wrote them a review it seems to get rid off all the bad reviews they changed the info. These people are very dishonest. I attempted to purchase a 8 week old black and red German shepherd puppy. I paid a deposit with a check. As the time came closer to get the puppy (I live in New York) I send countless emails asking for a updated picture of the dog. They ignored my emails until I gave them a ultimatum that if they can not show me a updated picture of the dog then I need my deposit back. At which time they told me “the dog died but we have a beautiful 13 week old sable which is perfect for you” they tried to bait and switch me thinking if I drive all the way down then I can be persuaded into not leaving empty handed. Shameful people. They have no reviews because they had to restart everything after screwing over so many people. I have all the emails to prove this. Buyer beware do your research before you buy. Dishonest business practices who try and bait and switch. Disgusting.

I am so glad that I found Von Dansu kennels when I was looking for a GSD. I got 'Jazz' when he was 9 weeks old. He is now almost 8 mos. old and has developed beautifully. He's smart, beautiful and well behaved -- except when his puppy-brain takes over and that's happening less often as he matures. I'm looking forward to his company for many years. Thank you Von Dansu.

Very knowledgeable, lovely breed lines. Many years of research went into providing amazing temperaments!We now have two stunning dogs, one short coat one long coat from Vondansu Shepherds. Our dogs are our protectors, they are loyal and are our best friends. Can honestly say they are the most amazing dogs we have ever had.
