I waited 20 mins for the employee to tell me their store does not accept FiOS equipment returns even though they are the only place listed in Mt. Airy for returns on the FiOS website.

Horrible customer service. Not clear on all Information pertaining to starting a new plan. Making me feel like I could not trust them. They are 100% crooks. They will rob you blind and not think twice about it. 2000% do not recommend.

Ordered a device that was supposed to be available same day (usually in about 2 hours per confirmation email). Have not received any email my order was ready or was not in stock and would take longer and called 8 times yesterday and no one answered the phone and another 3 times today with no answer and no return call.Update- I contacted the email below and received a call within 24hours that my order was ready. There was a hiccup with the order but they waived my activation fee and were very easy and personable to deal with in the store.

Best service ever at a Verizon store! Hunter was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Gladly did a few extra things to help me set up my new iPhone. Didn’t even have to wait in line on a Friday afternoon. Will definitely recommend this mount airy Verizon store and Hunter to my friends and Family.

Zane was great and a multi tasking jedi; to ensure everyone in the store was helped timely and with top notch service. Sad I don't live closer to this store, otherwise I'd always purchase through Zane.

My boyfriend and i came in to get the phone i ordered and after waiting for another associate to help us the manager had offered to help us and was very honest and straight forward with all of are questions, he also made sure i got the most i could off my old phone i was trading in. would definitely recommend this place but make sure you ask all the possible questions you have to get your best deal!

Honestly, my story is much too long to really go into detail. I must have caught these guys at a bad time or people are getting paid to put amazing reviews. I just really learned my lesson to NOT go to a Verizon “Authorized” retail store. From here on I will only be usually an actual Verizon store. When I called Verizon to see if what this location did was correct (it wasn’t, they misplaced the phone I traded in and couldn’t find it so I never got credit) the Verizon employee on the phone confirmed that they recommend to use actual Verizon stores in the future vs Authorized retailers. I’m already going to have to call Verizon again to see if what they did to remedy the issue worked because I’m suspecting it still isn’t resolved based on my bill and based on the experience I had here. This is ongoing since September…

My experience at the Russell Cellular Verizon store in Mt Airy was great. Colin was most helpful, patient, courteous and knowledgeable. His 15 mins of support was a welcome relief to all if the time I spent trying to figure out my phone issues. He remedied it quickly and efficiently . . very good experience.

I spent 4 hours in store with Jack and Colin who sat with me and walked me through the arduous process of getting out of my account being held hostage at Sprint. They both showed exceptional professionalism, customer service, competency, reliability and support and helped me argue with Sprint as they continued to feed me false information. Thanks guys. Means a lot. Will definitely be back.

My old phone broke, so I went to this location and ordered a phone from an employee there. I was told it would arrive at the store in approx. 1-2 weeks and I would be notified when the device arrived. After a month had passed, I had not been contacted, so I went back to the store. They said they didn’t see my order anywhere in their history (and so the phone never shipped). Since I had gone a month without a working phone I settled for something else at the store that day and bought a phone. I was told I would get a discount and my monthly bill would only increase by 4 $. Well, fast forward another month, I get my first bill and it’s 60$ higher than normal because of several “fees” I wasn’t informed about. And the new monthly bill beyond the first month has increased about 15$. Poor organization, misleading, and ultimately not helpful in the slightest

The Verizon Store in Mt Airy is amazing.What makes it so incredible is the outstanding Customer Service. We have had a Verizon Account for over 20 years. I cracked my phone screen and needed help setting my new phone up. The other Verizon Stores in surrounding Counties were too busy too assist.Do yourself a favor and cut the frustration you have with the other Verizon stores. If you don’t live near Mt Airy, Do the drive to get all your cell phone and device needs met. The store is well stocked with everything. Most importantly the staff is outstanding and knowledgeable. They are very honest and patient with questions. They restored my faith in Verizon. Let's face it, these devices are usually over a $1000 and the consumer deserves good service. You will get that at the Russell Verizon Store in Mt.Airy Md.

Zane & Jack are The Bomb!!! They helped us when Sprint/T-Mobile wouldn’t do Anything to help!! They went Above & Beyond to help us with all 5 lines with new phones and even stayed later than they were open. Never once complaining!! We are this Verizon store’s customers for Life! Thank you so much:)!!!!!
