Horrible customer service from manager Sonia. Had to wait 30 minutes to pick up my order that was sent a night before. When asked why it took so long her response was that her job was not to to online orders but she was going to do it today and that her store opened at 9am and she had 3 orders total this morning. Accordingly to her that’s “too much”. An employee called her when I arrived and from pharmacy side she yelled “he can wait” that’s really terrible service.

I've done lots of pickup orders for regular items and photos. The service has mainly been above par including communication pertaining to item availability with photo orders. The staff has been diligent with each order. I really appreciate them!

The clerk behind the pharmacy desk is the rudest person. She should not be working in any position that deals with customer service. She is a poor communicator and blames her shortcomings on the customer.

This complaint is in regards to the Walgreens in Mount Airy, Md., and relates to the unavailability of the pharmacy hours. While the latest issue transpired on 1/7/2022, I have had several other concerns since July.We have had excellent experiences with Walgreens Pharmacy for years in various states. When we moved to Mount Airy, Md in July, we chose to continue with Walgreens. Unfortunately, the pharmacy hours at the Mount Airy, MD, location have proven to be inconvenient and unreliable. Since July, their hours have been arbitrary at best, sometime closing at 5:30pm, and at their worst, totally unavailable on the weekends.We were hoping things would find a normal rhythm at some point, so we remained loyal to the store. But the evening of January 7, 2022, exhausted the last bit of my patience.My husband was being released from the hospital and the hospitalist ordered prescriptions for him. She sent them to Walgreens, per the information in his file. He received a text indicating the RX had been received. However, when I stopped by Walgreens at 5PM, the pharmacy was closed. And I was informed that it had closed at 1 PM and signs had been posted.Since I was at the hospital all week, wow would I know that? And how would anyone know that unless they were in the store? Furthermore, why would a customer think that a pharmacy would be closed at that hour?I had to track down the hospitalist and request the RX be sent elsewhere. This added to the stress I was already feeling. Thankfully, Walmart was nearby. And when I called them to be certain the RX had been received and explained out situation, they expedited it. That is customer care!Due to this experience, along with the last few months of inconsistent customer service at the pharmacy, we will no longer be using Walgreens for our pharmaceutical needs.I sincerely hope someone at the corporate level will look into what is going on at the Walgreens Pharmacy in Mount Airy, Md.

I have lived in Mt. Airy since 1987 and have been using this pharmacy exclusively and they were always great customer service awesome but in the past 4-5 months it has been a nightmare, no one ever answers the phone i have been on hold for more than 90 minutes only to give up and hang up call the store same thing no one answers. Pharmacy hours are ridiculous they close at 5:30pm M-F and closed on weekends it is impossible for someone who works to get there. I wish i could leave less than 1 star.

When will the pharmacy hours adjust back to prior hours? Closed by 5:30 and closed on weekends, are not conducive for those workers outside the Mount Airy area. I have to take my personal vacation to pick up prescriptions, not acceptable.

Pharmacy closes at 5:30 during week, closed on weekends two months now. Numerous times at front to check out and no one there.What happened to this place? Do yourself a favor and go next door to CVS

If Walgreens is not having their Pharmacy's open on the weekends that is putting a lot of people at risk and highly inconvenient for a lot of people who may need medication. So should we take our business else where or end up in the ER due to not receiving our Meds??? This shows they do not care and the WEBSITE needs to be UPDATED by someone who knows how!!

My son ran away from me and out of the store and almost got clipped by a reversing car, when the shift lead TIARE CURRAN sprinted and saved him by grabbing him. If it wasn't for her I would've lost my son that day. This lady deserves a serious raise and all the best things. Walgreens please do right by this young lady. Im so so so thankful for her.

Went there for my first Covid shot. The pharmacist was great! Had some issues on my end. Wished I could remember his name - it begins with a T. I would like to thank him very very very much!!!
