Question for Mr York why does my AC not blow cold after 6 months after you repaired it or pretended to? Are you going to respond to this one ted? Just curious also what about Jasmine's transmission remember that one I have witnesses ?

Was able to diagnose a problem other shops could not diagnose. Fast turn around, and much less for the repairs than I expected/. I will be back.

Earlier this month I brought my 2008 four runner in for a tire sensor light being on! They looked at all of them and reset them.
Say on the way to Fredrick the light came back on. I took. It back and made another appointment for Thursday. The owner quoted me a price and a very young mechanic came out and showed be which ones needed to be replaced . The owner kept coming it and apologizing for how long it was taking . Yes it took a couple hours but the light is out and we drove to Myrtle Beach with no issues !
I will taking all of our vehicles to Mt Airy Motors! Everyone I dealt with nice and very kind especially the owner.

I recommend avoiding Mt. Airy Motors and Ted. What started as him simply speaking down to me turned into a saga of poor customer service, multiple delayed results, and receiving my car with new cosmetic damage.
We had purchased a used car, knowing the full history and previous owners, but needed a MD inspection. We came to Ted at Mt. Airy Motors after receiving a recommendation that he was trustworthy.
My first interaction with him was not a pleasant one. When he called to tell me the car was ready, he was extremely rude, telling me I shouldn’t have purchased the car and calling it a death trap.
Upon picking it up he showed us videos that his mechanic took explaining that if we drive it another 5 miles it would fall apart. Unknown to him the car had been driven over hundred miles in the condition it was currently in. He told us we should take it back to the “idiot mechanic” that did the initial repairs and tell him to do the job correctly, saying it should only cost a few hundred to redo. We took it to another local mechanic to get a second opinion who said that it was not a death trap, but he could see how the repairs might not meet all mechanical standards. Since Mt. Airy Motors did the inspection, we ended up taking it back to them to fix the repairs. Not only did he charge us over $1,200 to fix it but it also took over a week when he told us it would only take 2 days. When we finally picked up the vehicle, we got home to find new cosmetic damage! We got Ted on the phone who admitted he knew about the damage but simply forgot to inform us. We took the car BACK the next day and again he said it would take 2 days and again it took a week.
The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is that he did ultimately fix the cosmetic damage and reimbursed us for the rental car we had to get since he kept our car longer then he initially said. But we will definitely never be returning to him after the entire experience.

Had a wheel bearing done here a year ago that was disintegrated due to no lubrication being put on during the changing process.
