This is the BEST daycare and schooling in the area. The way they handle the kids here is amazing. My son has been attending here for two years. He has absolutely blossomed since he started! His behavior can be challenging at times as he is now a 4 year old, FULL of energy. They are absolutely amazing on how they handle behavioral issues. (My son can be extremely difficult at times!)We are moving out of the area soon and they accommodate our family in anyway shape or form.Even though we are moving soon, my 2 year old son will be attending as well. I can’t wait to see him blossom in the time that he will be attending.I highly recommend this facility to anyone that I can! We love them!!!

My children were able to write and read at a young age. My children love their teachers and the activities brought out my childrens creativity. The teachers are well trained and they are very attentive or childrens needs and their social behaviors. Thank you!

Not too fond of a place that kicks a kid out for "crying too much." I was told my son would no longer be welcome because he cries too much and it's "not fair to other kids." It's funny because I work with kids as well as having kids of my own and I wouldn't even think to tell someone that.

Our family loves Little Travelers Daycare for many reasons. First and foremost, the staff are caring, loving, nurturing and consistent. We have had children at Little Travelers for over five years and there has been almost no staff turnover during this time. We’ve also noticed very few staff absences, which means our children are able to bond with teachers and become comfortable in the daycare setting.Little Travelers also provides kids at all ages with high quality learning experiences. Whether it’s rotating out a vast selection of engaging toys that promote creativity and learning or explicitly teaching skills, the children are always actively thinking, playing, interacting, and problem solving. When our son started Little Travelers at age 5, half a year before starting kindergarten, he wrote nearly all of his letters backwards. By the time he entered kindergarten, thanks to his instruction at Little Travelers, he not only was able to write all of his letters correctly, he also did so with extremely neat handwriting. Little Travelers carefully assesses and monitors each students’ academic progress to ensure that each student’s needs are being met and all students are challenged. Both our son and our daughter entered kindergarten already knowing how to read thanks to their time at Little Travelers.Music, movement, fresh air and exercise are all a part of children’s days at Little Travelers. Our children have all come home and taught us songs, dances, and exercises that they’ve learned at Little Travelers. When the weather is nice, children enjoy long periods of outdoor play on their expansive playgrounds and grassy fields.Little Travelers has played a vital positive role in our children’s lives. We are grateful for each teacher and staff member’s knowledge, kindness, and dedication to each and every child.

We put our 2 elementary aged kids in the before and aftercare program at Little Travelers when we moved to the area last spring. We had a good experience with them-our kids enjoyed their time there. We no longer need before and aftercare so they are no longer attending, but we were happy that they made an effort to play with the kids and keep them engaged. They are definitely a little on the old fashioned side- they don’t have a website or a way you can pay online or anything like that, and the center looks a bit dated, but those things weren’t a big deal for us. They are also significantly cheaper than any other centers we looked into.

My 3.5 year old daughter was in daycare here last summer, and in the beginning things were great. Then she came home and started talking about how she was constantly in time out and her teachers were yelling at her. The teachers were very nice in the beginning but even to me, they were short and not very kind. It seems the teachers are not trained on deescalation and just use time out so they don’t have to manage the more challenging personalities. Unfortunately I pulled her out of LT because of the behavior changes that happened because of how she was treated here.

BEWARE!! My granddaughter was recently pulled out of this facility. She is four years old and was heard telling another child she did not want to be friends with him. The DIRECTOR of the facility told everyone not to speak or play with her all day, since she didn't want any friends. This was a 11 hour day and amounts to abuse. I will be filing a formal complaint.

(Sorry for the long post)My son and my "daughter" have been going to Little Travelers Daycare for 2 1/2 years now... Reading the review below that Ms. Sherryl Watkins posted, I'd like to touch on.... HER granddaughter was NO SAINT. She has been bullying my son for quite a while now. My son has come home in TEARS multiple times!! And daily talks about how she is very hurtful to my son. I am ashamed of people that DO NOT discipline their children. I walked in a few times and over heard the little girl being NASTY to the kids INCLUDING MY SON!!!! So unfortunately for Ms. Watkins, Little Travelers has AN ENTIRE COMMUNITY BEHIND THEM!I'll give you some background on "THE DIRECTOR", also known as Mrs. Gail! She is an absolute saint! My son was attending an at home daycare before we came here, and he was abused there (actually abused... not just being disciplined!) I frantically pulled my son from the at home daycare and searched for somewhere to take my son, of course being terrified it would happen again to him! I was/am a young, single of two children; my son and my niece that I took in! I called Little Travelers and briefly explained what happened. Mrs. Gail met with me THAT DAY! I came in, toured the physicality, and she gave me the paperwork for my son to start! I had an amazing gut feeling about them. WITHIN TWO DAYS my son was able to start. Oh and by the way, while explaining to Mrs.Gail what happened to my son at the previous daycare, she cried her eyes out with me, and then hugged me before I left (By the way I was a complete stranger to her). If that doesn't show you how much she loves kids, then I don't know what will!!Mrs. Gail didn't stop there though, she helps me constantly! She is ALWAYS willing to take on my children, their problems, their hurt, their pain! Mrs. Gail AND ALL OF HER STAFF are AMAZING!I personally will NEVER be able to repay Mrs. Gail and her Staff for everything they did and continue to do for me and my children! In closing, unfortunately some people don't like the hard truth that THEIR children are the problem. And I will say first hand Sherryl Watkins, your granddaughter was not nasty on just ONE account! She was NASTY DAILY! TO MY SON, AND TO OTHER CHILDREN. She had been warned (I personally heard) to be nice to the other children on multiple occasions and SHE chose not to be! She was not ABUSED, she was DISCIPLINED... (And to others reading, please hear the real story behind this, she was not made to play alone ALL DAY.) Maybe you should sit down with you granddaughter and show her how to play nicely to friends, respect others and STRANGERS. Nobody will get anywhere with being mean in life.... Please remember God does NOT like Ugly!I feel that EVERY child has the potential of being kind, but it is all in how they are RAISED and what they learn/see!LITTLE TRAVELERS WILL ALWAYS HAVE MY BUSINESS AND WILL ALWAYS HAVE A PERSONAL FRIEND! Thank you ALL for all of the hard work you put it! We love you guys!

My son went here 20 years ago. I have continued to recommend LT to friends who now love them as much as we did. My son continued to go back to visit throughout high school and the US Army. They mean the world to us.

It was a nice place to be put, free of places to get hurt and whatnot. They did their best to keep the summer slide from occurring. I was constantly bullied here. In front of the staff no less. None of the staff ever lifted a finger. When I would go to them they would promise to bring it up to the children that I had mentioned but nothing ever came from it.
