I'm share a positive shout out for this highs convenience store First of all, I really enjoy the fact that highs still serves hand scooped ice cream that's a old fashion luxury you can find in many places evening, so-called ice cream stores that serve soft, serve ice cream This past Sunday, 14 May, Mother's Day, I stopped in there and a gentleman name. Sean greeted me at the door. As I expected, I saw my favorite ice cream flavor and his partner and coworker very artfully. Serve me a scoop of ice cream and treated me like a gentleman. I even inquired around the restroom and they graciously showed me where to find it warning me that one of the restaurants was out of order. I had to pinch myself because I thought I went back in the Time Machine when manners and Customer Service, or something that was common place like maybe three decades are for decades ago

I arrived at 11pm and the lights at the pumps and the store were on. When I pulled up to the pump the lights went off. I pulled up to the store and the employee turned the lights of and didn't serve me. He saw that I was there before 12. Google said it was open. If there were no other gas stations around, I would have been stranded in the rain. Thanks a lot HIGHS. Will ? for you.

Alex approaches me ask if he can help when I explain the problem he proceeds to apologize and walks away with no assistance. First thing don't ask to help if your not planning on it. Second you were trying to make small chat but you really weren't trying to do work which is why you handled the situation the way you did. This is why you will all just need to stay not working why are you hiring people that don't want to do their job

I was standing in which was a crowded store during lunch hour the cashier Michael was at the register along with another cashier. Michael proceeded with doing nothing at the register and told me that the woman next to him would wait on me. Meanwhile a white Caucasian male approached the counter right after me and Michael the cashier and decided to wait on him. I found that to be very offensive and unprofessional and very discriminating.

The gas comes out sooooo slow I’m writing this review while it’s filling my PRIUS! Seriously at least 30 seconds per gallon. I can be in and out of Sheetz in 4 minutes.

Came to this Highs to use my Weis gas points, instead of the High's over near the sleven and mikeyDs. That Highs, there pumps are horrible, never read the Weis card...but I digress. This Highs, right by the Weis, which I thought would be better, because it's right by the Weis, right, well it's not. Gas pump card reader wouldn't read the Weis card, tried punching in the number on the card but that did not work...went inside for help. The only thing that made this experience even somewhat pleasureable was the young gentleman behind the counter (NOT THE MANAGER) who unfortunately appeared to be a rookie. The manager had to be called from the back and when he came out, he looked like he was being pulled away from watching his favorite sit-com in the back, but I get it, everyone is allowed to have a bad day, right. None-the-less, another disappointing HIgh's gas station expierence in Mt. AIry, and all I'm trying to do is use gas points from the Weis grocery store. Seriously thinking about shopping some where else for groceries as well.

Unfortunately they have a manager who is rude to her employees and customers. Extra star is for the poor staff that has to deal with this woman daily. I will update when she is gone, which can’t be soon enough

They have made many much needed improvements here. Used to be only 4 pumps (or something like that - not nearly enough anyway) and now have many. Also have a fried food station inside - potato wedges are tasty! It's a much nicer gas station than it was before the renovation. Thumbs up
