This CVS’s Pharmacy is a literal disaster. Always understaffed, incompetent workers, waiting over 30mins for a flu shot. Absolutely ridiculous how this place is still in business. Would be willing to be they’re gone by 2024

This pharmacy is so bad I don’t even know where to start. Long lines, no one answers their phone, fills prescriptions incorrectly, incredibly unfriendly staff. Mount airy has medstar one, Safeway pharmacy, Weis pharmacy, Walmart pharmacy and rite aid. Run -don’t walk-to any of them but CVS in Mt airy

This place is no good. Was 4th in line and it took 20 minutes to get to the counter. Surprise, they didn't have the medicine even after the Dr called to confirm they had it, and they “filled” the order ready for pickup. The picture of the line below was after the 20 minutes. Poor guy in the back is gonna wait 1 hour plus.

You need to do better. Pharmacy tech arguing with customer. Customers waiting for a LONG period of time to get waited on. This picture is only half the line.

I really needed a COVID test and they closed at 955 pm and they were supposed to stay open until 10pm as posted online and on their front door. Made an extra trip here for nothing.

If I could leave a negative review I would. Hands down the worst pharmacy and store I’ve been to. The line to pick up a prescription is always 6-7 people deep regardless of the day/time I go. There is always only one person checking out prescriptions and zero sense of urgency. I’m not leaving a review after one bad experience, it’s EVERY time. At least 2 visits a month for the last 2 years!! Someone at the corporate level needs address the issues at this store. Walgreens should just open a location, I would go there in a heartbeat. If service doesn’t improve I’ll have to drive to another location and change pharmacies.

I've been here alot the past 2 years for prescriptions and shots and have never had a bad experience. Even in the past year when everyone is short staffed. Thank you for all you do.

I have an issue with my script everytime I come here, and looks like so does everyone else - almost every person in line had something inappropriate inaccurate not updated in their file etc and their pick up time turns into a great deal of time. Line is always incredibly long, staff is always complaining loudly about their jobs (don’t necessarily blame them here, the organization from cvs seems incredibly poor, clients are always upset and they are chronically understaffed) and life in general. I’ve been met with attitude on more than one occasion and a very cold and rude demeanor. I’m finally able to change pharmacy’s and can’t wait to never have to walk into this pharmacy again.

Overpromise, underdeliver. And then rude about it! Came to pick up a prescription. They said they were out, but would have it the next day, likely by 11am. Okay, fine. I waited three days. Still no prescription. I can live with that. What offends me - a lot- is that when I said (in a conversational manner) that I had been told it would be in a couple of days earlier, the clerk - in a raised voice - announced that “we don’t make the drugs here”. I believe my comment was reasonable. Her response was flat-out rude. My convenient drug store to my home. I’ll never enter again.

Benjamin the cashier at this CVS Mt. Airy MD pharmacy, became very loud and vocal regarding my RX not being able to be filled at this location.EVERYONE in the store knew that I had an RX that was not able to be filled.Never before have I felt so embarrassed and confused in front of all the customers and my daughter.I asked for him to lower his voice as I was not raising mine and asked him to treat me with the same respect I was giving him. He refused and only spoke louder with hostility. He claimed it was his normal tone. Walked over to the other pharmacist whispering and laughing.Benjamin chose not to speak to me privately regarding my issue, in the designated areas.Never had a problem with this CVS until Benjamins behavior and lack of accountability. Later denied and lied on the phone. I'm sure the cameras captured it all as I shut down and started to fight back tears. I've worked in healthcare for 18 years. This was unacceptable. I do not wish for anyone to loose their job but this was incredibly embarrassing and humiliating. I'm still in shock and speechless.Still not one apology. My alternative is to go to frederick and have a catheter inserted into my urethra to allow me to void and provide pain relief so I can maintain a normal pain free quality of life. So that I can stand and wash dishes, pick up my kids, walk for 5 minutes without pain and needing to run to the bathroom, go to my job and perform my job functions. This information should remain between me and my doctor and I should not have to explain why nor should a cashier being saying out loud for all to hear that this is "being flagged as drug seeking behavior" and be raising his voice and treating a patient with disrespect.I am appalled by this behavior, lack of professionalism and empathy and HIPAA violation. He frightened myself and my daughter. Will be transferring to another location. Avoid this pharmacy. Still - not one apology.

This review is mainly for the pharmacy, the store stuff are helpful for the most part. I drove there to pick up a vitamin prescription and was told they ran out; not only they didn't put in an order, I wasn't notified. There were 3 people ahead of me and they were all asked if they had any questions for the pharmacist, then my turn came and I wasn't asked that question, I guess I didn't look important enough but again I think I know the reason...

Don't go here for prescriptions, very rude if you can even get to talk to someone, no communication. Was told they can't help that they are short staffed and hung up on me

Just called to have my RX filled and the person whom I spoke to was insanely rude. Ive never had an issue here before. I understand and appreciate that the healthcare field is under a lot of pressure right now because I am in the field too. However after being very kind after patiently waiting 15+ mins I do not understand why I was snapped at when checking to make sure the right RX was being filled.
