I am an all time customer at this location. I gave 3 stars because of my experience today. When checking out something odd happened. At first when my son and I were putting all the food on the belt, the cashier seemed not too happy. I’m not sure if it was because I had a lot of groceries or just because it was Saturday morning. I greeted her anyway. So when it was time to pay she said under her (COVID) mask “ put your number..” I did and took out my bank card to pay ( PNC card is orange). She says “ I would be getting these many groceries if I was Paying with EBT. I should apply”.
At first I didn’t understand why she said that but now I realize EBT cards are Orange-yellow. Imagine working in a grocery store and saying this to your customers. I’m thinking she thought i didn't speak English and that I was paying with EBT. My husband and I work hard to pay $235 for groceries . Even if someone pays with EBT is nobody’s business. A woman with this mentality shouldn’t work in a grocery store.

Lidl is a fantastic addition to the area and the prices are outrageously low! They have a great store brand and some brand name items (way more brand names than Aldi), if you care about that. I buy the store brand.
I have completely switched all my grocery shopping to this store and I use their app for savings. Very easy and free app.
The store is always well-stocked unless you go on Sunday after 5:00 PM. It's a popular grocery shopping day, and like all stores, they'll run out of a bunch of things by then. The produce is limited but it's very affordable and there's always a sale.
Don't sleep on the bakery section! The plain croissants are AMAZING and only 79 cents!! Wayyy better than Starbucks or Panera for 1/4 of the price. Everything from the bakery has been incredibly good.
The checkout lines are managed very well! If there's more than a few people in line, they always open another line, always. You should bring bags and be prepared to bag your own groceries.
Every now and then, they run out of carts and you have to grab one from the parking lot. Still worth it to me. The parking lot is very big but for some reason, they made the 'aisles' way too small and the parking spaces even smaller. I have a tiny car and it is still a bit of a struggle. I see large SUVs that don't have a prayer of fitting in a spot. But, there's always extra parking so you can take up more than one spot if needed.
Ultimately, a very good discount grocery store and totally worth shopping here to save $!

It's definitely one of the greatest stores in the DMV. You have quality, great price, and diversity ( European and local products).

Nice location. The staff is nice and the shelves are always being stocked. The bakery is great. Our favorite are the croissants. The prices and the options are good so, Lidl can be used as a regular grocery store

Reasonable prices and good product variety. Has the best and most varied selection of seafood I've seen anywhere in any grocery store at any time. A seafood lover's shopping paradise.
