I got my Hair cut here by Rick right before my wedding. I had never had a nice haircut before and Rick did an amazing job and I got compliments on my hair which was a first.

First of all, the salon ambiance is beautiful!I booked an appointment with Jovanna and now she’s stuck with me!I’ve never met a hairstylist who would take the time to learn my hair goals and guide me on how to better care for my hair until I met Jovanna. She not only gave me the haircut I asked for, Jovanna listened to my concerns and educated me about the products that would work great for my hair type. I’m so grateful to have met her and look forward to my healthy hair journey with Jo as my stylist!#Love it!!!

I booked an appointment online and put my credit card information in for 200 dollars for a cut/trim and single process color. I had to get a babysitter for my 3 kids and drive 30 mins to Gaithersburg to then be told that was just a deposit and it would be 450 dollars?! The stylist told me she charges per the hour for hair color?! Absolutely unbelievable that these insane prices are not posted on their website. Complete waste of my time. I’ve been getting my hair cut and colored for over 25 years and I have never heard of such expensive prices. I could understand if I was getting highlights or changing my hair from brown to blonde but no this was just for a simple brown color similar to my natural hair.

am so pleased I found this salon and especially Jovanna. She was terrific! Jovanna listened to my need and made sure I felt comfortable about the plan for the cut and styling. I have very long, thick hair and it took Jovanna a very long time to make sure every inch of my hair was styled perfectly. I feel really comfortable about taking care of my hair after I walked out of the salon and have gotten great compliments on it. Thank you Jovanna.

i made an appointment for a style hair cut with an expected stylist instead of the promised stylist, I got a stylist with basic experience. my precious long hair was cut horribly and I was left looking like Dora the explorer. I could have gotten that same haircut at haircuttery or better for less ($2500) not $110.00 for ruining my experience and giving the worse haircut ever! I would never go here again and I would not recommend it to anyone!

I've been coming here to see Silia for almost a year now, every 4-5 weeks, never a problem scheduling and if either of us needs to reschedule it's no big deal.Every time I've walked out it's with a fresh cut that I'm happy with.I've never had a regular hair stylist, I think my favorite part is that I just sit down and Silia gets to work, she knows what I want.Oh I lied, my favorite part is the shampoo/wash. Shout out to the nice lady who does that,

I’m writing this review for services received by myself and my teen daughter over the past two years. My hair is fine and grey but Atilio works his magic and makes it looks fuller & younger. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair color and cut since letting him manage it. My daughter’s hair, which is curly and fine, has been cut by Silia. Like any teen she can be critical of her appearance, but she’s loved what Silia has done. Honestly though the biggest wow occurred when Grace styled her updo for prom. It was a red carpet worthy work of art! Finally I have to compliment their hair washer Lubia for always providing a relaxing experience. I haven’t experienced unwanted splashes once. Illusions cares that you receive the best services possible, and they do not hesitate to make sure the person best for your hair takes care of you. Their decor is fabulous, there’s loads of parking available, and you’ll only regret not finding them sooner.Services: Haircut

Very disappointed. It was my first time at the salon, I paid $75, to come out looking like a man. I even showed the picture and asked if I should keep it up so they could use it for reference. She told me no she had it, and chopped me all the hell up. I will never visit there again

Just got my balayage and cut with Jovanna and I am so in love!! I knew I was going to be impressed when she spent so much time to really understand my vision and talk out the next steps instead of just rushing to get started. I came to her with really brassy ends from my balayage over a year ago and she managed to get those orange hues out and get me to the chocolatey caramely brown I was looking for. She also did a fantastic job at making a subtle and natural color transition instead of just throwing in large steaks of highlights in the front like others tend to do. I was also in a bit of a time crunch once we got to the cut/blowdry and she managed to work her fashion week skills and get me to where I needed to be right on time without compromising the look! Beyond her talent with hair, she was also such a lovely and motivating woman and I look forward to working with her for every touch up. If you're looking for someone who will take the time to get to know the ins and outs of your hair, look no further! She's perfect for all your blonding & balayage needs.
