I believe the store sells rejects from name brand companies.Was not satisfied with my purchase at all.

I was in need of some New Balance. I purchased at the DTLR located in Mitchellville, Maryland. I wanted to get shoes quickly. I then asked to try on two different sizes. I received one shoe from each size. I asked what is the return policy? I then asked will I get a full refund since I noticed the initial question was not answered. I was given a "yea" response. Needless to say I went back the next day and asked to try a larger size. They had my purchased shoes and gave me one of the larger sized shoes. I stated I paid for the shoes they were holding with my receipt behind the counter, and that I should be given both shoes to try on. They stated I gave them the receipt and shoes for the previous purchase not the exchange I was trying to complete. Irritated, I took the larger size shoes. Did not like the fit and went back the next day and asked for a refund since I found a wider size on the website. They stated because I exchanged the shoes the day before it was not considered a refund that it could not be credited back to my card. I don't recommend this store. If you buy on a card and need to exchange, take the long route. Refund the initial purchase and buy the replacement. Terrible experience for over 200 dollars. If you purchase using cash, there are no refunds given only a credit.

The don’t lace up the shoes for you. They told me that is how the New Balance comes ( the boy picked up one shoe and said see). I had to lace up the shoe for my son to try them on. The customer service suck!

Poor customer service! I was not greeted by anyone upon entering the store, and the woman behind the counter appeared bothered when I requested help with a shoe. Afterwards, she opened the box for me to see the shoe, however when I picked one up, she placed the box with the other shoe in it on the floor behind the counter. What kind of service is this?! Did she expect me to run out? Had it not been my husband's birthday, I would've left without purchasing anything at all. However I did buy the shoes, along with a sweatshirt, only to get home and realize she had left a censor on my husband's gift. When I returned the next day to have the censor removed, I expressed my discontent to the manager. His response was "sorry you feel that way, but it's our policy to only hand customers one shoe and to place the other one behind the counter". SMH. They will never get another dollar of my money.

Asked for some shoes and the guy came out eating pizza and took the shoes out the box to give it to me. Very unsanitary

Poor customer service. Asked to get my son's foot measured and the sales person expected me to look for the device! Also when they brought out the shoes for my son to try on, they only gave us one shoe at a time. Could not try on both shoes together. Also they didn't stay nearby to see if they fit, we had to find him to tell him they didn't fit. Won't be patronizing.

Walked out one day with 8 shoes. They were patient and attentive when it came to picking out which shoe I wanted to buy. Overall a good experience.

They were nice until it was time to close, my fiancé picked out a shoe but they didn’t have it in his size he asked for another color and the cashier immediately caught an attitude. I apologized that we were still hear near closing and she let me know “we already are closed” so I cancelled the transaction and took my business elsewhere due to her nasty rush customer service. Do better.
