CVS is the WORST!! My doctor’s office sent a prescription over to CVS for my husband. He’s been sick with a flu type virus for over a week. When I went to pick it up the employee at the window said it wasn’t in stock because of a manufacturer backlog and it would be several weeks before it was back in stock. I asked him if I found another pharmacy that had it available could they transfer the prescription. He said absolutely. I just needed to have the pharmacy call CVS and they would transfer it. Giant ended up having it in stock so I asked them to call to have the prescription transferred. CVS refused to transfer it because they said that they needed to fill it at least one time. Does that make any sense at all? IT WAS NOT IN STOCK AT CVS!!! So I had to drive over to our doctor’s office to ask her to call it into Giant. When I went back to Giant, the pharmacist told me that they could not fill it because CVS had to back it out of their system. I called CVS to try and get them to do this and I was on a hold for 30 minutes. Finally, an employee picked up, and I explained the situation. He told me I would have to call back in an hour! I told him absolutely not, and I needed a supervisor. He hung the phone up on me! I will NEVER use them again. So unprofessional!

Most CVS in this area are horrible, but the one near Old Mill on Veterans Highway is by far the worse. The staff, the service, the drive thru, the phone wait time. When drive thru is suppose to be open, it's not... when they say they will open the drive thru at 8am. No sign, no communication about it not being open, they just have you waiting. Thank goodness none of my prescriptions are life and death that I must take daily, otherwise you would be out of luck to get your r/x filled or get any help or assistance as needed in a timely manner. I stay, because I'm hopeful it will get better, but so far... no luck. I wouldn't recommend this CVS to an enemy that's how bad their service is.

I have been a CVS customer for many years and never used to have any problem with this pharmacy when calling for information. But in the last few months, it has been difficult to even get anyone to answer the phone. They must be understaffed because of the vaccine issues. I have waited as much as 10 minutes for my calls to be answered, and the app is very hard for me to navigate. I did have a good experience this last time. I "only" had to wait 5 minutes, but the best part is that JP answered and was very helpful, so cudos to him for his patience with this old lady. Now I just have to figure out the app, as this particular Rx is to be a cash transaction and it keeps wanting me to link my CVS card with my credit card, as the pharmacy cannot take payment on the phone. So......thanks to JP for making this a bit more easy to do on the phone. CVS, take better care of your people and get more staff. That will go a long way toward easing the phone service issue.

I don't understand how they get any positive reviews they have to be fake. We are forced to deal with CVS because of our insurance company. If we had any choice in the matter whatsoever we would go somewhere else I can't believe they're still open. People need medicine for their health some of it is urgent. We've had prescriptions that were needed immediately not yet filled for 3 days. When you go in to pick them up they act like it's the first they heard of it. Even though I dropped them off in person. I've also had them lie and tell me that the doctor never called it in. Drove all the way back to the doctor for them to show me where they actually sent it in so CVS lied. They're always understaffed. And I have never in 2 years been able to pick up a prescription when I was supposed to.

This place needs a overhaul ...... If the employee don't like the job , they should quit. I have counted 7 people working just in the pharmacy department and the line was 20 deep over 1 hour wait to be told not ready yet. Prescription called in the day before???¿???? See you next time , maybe not...

Kept me waiting almost thirty minutes to get a vaccine even though I was the first in line. Completely unprepared and acted like I was bothering them when I asked what was taking so long. Apparently, even though my appointment was at 9 am, they did not bother to start warming up the vaccine until after 9. Very frustrating.

Minute clinic is an absolute joke. Extremely slow and turned away to go to the ER for a simple thing.
