23June2024 Lovey, calming, enchanted, welcoming massive garden nursery, property. There is a wonderful garden for kids to the right as you walk on the nursery property.
There are so many perennials, annuals, flowers, and rare succulents in the open air nursery (to the left of the property when you walk in). One of a kind stepping stones, statues, and house ornaments.
There is a huge pond far off to the back of the nursery by the stable where the horse is. So gorgeous and tranquil. The koi pond across the bridge to the cottage store.
The gift store is neatly spaced and place which makes for wonderful shopping and shopping experience. The person that runs this nursery knows all the prices of everything item and plant on the property. You won’t be able to leave here without buying something.
This nursery is so ascetically pleasing from the massive trees, gorgeous surroundings, koi pond, and gentle breeze as if you were walking the sands at Turks and Caicos??.This is a must stop and I know you will be so glad you did. They have August hours Friday & Saturday 10a.m.-2p.m., closed Sunday-Thursday.

An elderly female employee told us that Caladiums were not toxic and were fine with morning sun. However, it turns out they ARE toxic and need mostly shade, otherwise they will get leaf scorch and will die. Do not recommend as these people apparently do not know their plants, or are only interested in sales.

This was my first visit and I was very impressed. They have healthy/gorgeous plants at good prices. I highly recommend Surrey Brook if you want healthy plants.

This is best nursery, period!! I have been to all nurseries around Frederick in fact as far as Hagerstown and Virginia. But the quality of plants and even the soil that these guys have is superb. Amazing collections and very reasonable pricing. They beat Home Depot and Lowe’s all day every day on everything.

I visit Surreybrooke several times each year to stroll through their beautifully landscaped gardens. They are full of quiet, shady spots to sit and enjoy the view. The retail area has multiple, well stocked greenhouses full of colorful annuals, perennials and succulents to brighten your garden or containers. They also carry an extensive selection of garden decor - birdhouses, statues, hanging baskets and birdbaths. You won't be disappointed.
