I absolutely love Freestate. They are always helpful and polite no matter what your experience is with shooting. I've been going there for like 4 years since I moved to the parkville area. And they are one of the few indoor ranges that let you get holster certified and rapid fire as long as you are doing it safely. My one gripe is that they need to expand. They are ridiculously busy on the weekends and their wait times can be 2+ hours sometimes. I would love to see them buy the vacant building next door and open another set of shooting bays.

Josh was a great instructor! He helped me figure out my why I was pulling left. Doing the dynamic pistol 1 class gave me more confidence and actually made me think about carrying my firearm.

Dane is an awesome instructor. Friendly, funny, very knowledgeable. Freestate is great with a great range and great staff. Looking forward to going back.

Zack did a great job explaining the operation and maintenance on my AR, feel more comfortable on Fielding Stripping and cleaning. Good class not rushed and very informative.

As a tourist from Germany I'm obviously new to guns. I felt very welcome at the FreeState Gun Range, staff was super friendly so I can recommend.
Also worth mentioning local guy Wayne was super friendly and helpful lending me one of his tools and keeping an eye on me for a bit, great guy!

This was first experience taking a class at Freestate, this was for my CCW renewal. Let me just say Josh is great instructor! he kept the class moving and lively and fun. His methods really kept all of us engaged and attentive. Would definitely take another class with Josh .

The service was top notch. Zak built an AR 10 for me in 308 and yesterday I hit every steel target I shot at from 300 to 1020 yards. That's a 1 minute build in an AR10, 308. I highly recommend that Zak build one for you too. Buy the best parts, and spend some money on a good rifle. Free State is customer-oriented and Zak is an absolute pleasure to work with.

My instructor was Stephanie. She was great. Very thorough and detailed, yet not boring at all...even for a "classroom" hater like myself, lol. Will definitely return for additional training in the future. Everyone we dealt with was very professional.
