They were quick to convert from medical-only to recreational. It looks like they discontinued their curbside pickup option, which is a shame but understandable with the increase in traffic from recreational users.Decent selection, but could be better. It’s difficult to find one product and get it reliably week after week, as the brands and strains change so frequently. Variety is nice, but having a few ‘staples’ would be nice, too.Customer service is hit or miss. It’s usually very positive, but there have been plenty of interactions that felt rushed, and budtenders who didn’t feel like answering any questions about the products, instead just pointing you to the menu book (which only lists names and prices, no information about any of the strains).Prices are decent.

Had a great time at the Mechanicsville Story of Cannabis dispensary. I had forgotten to bring my notes on what exactly I wanted, and Michael helped me find the best items for me with patience and good humor. Didn't rush me a bit and provided some good conversation and a couple of chuckles. Thanks!

Store hours are easy to remember and convenient. Reception staff were gregarious and professional. The agents were attentive and professional. Prices are more reasonable than expected, so I'm glad to pay for the consistency. Clean premises, quick walk-in service, and appointment options. What the experience of purchasing cannabis was always supposed to feel like.

I visited with a friend...I was curious and Story has got a well organized operation.They had a full menu as well as specials. It was busy but you could not tell, we were in and out quickly. My friend was really impressed!
