I had driven three hours one way to get two of my foster cats fixed and while I waited I decided to visit a local coffee spot. The ambiance from the photos was very kitchy and very cute, upon getting there and going in it was vastly different. The only reason I'm even giving two starts is because the food and drinks were absolutely phenomenal. However the service was incredibly disorganized, slow and stand offish. Out of the three or four people who were working, one was making the coffee and taking the orders, the other two to three individuals were either standing around, wiping down the counters or just trying to tell the girl making the coffee that she needed to also take the orders, when there were about 7 of us waiting to even have our orders taken. I don't know if it's just how the people are in this area of Maryland but I have never been treated as poorly as I was at this establishment anywhere else I"ve gone in Maryland.

Clean, quiet spot, guy working there was super friendly, good service.
Downside is the coffee, super bitter and acidic. I am a bit picky about coffee so if something along the lines of Folgers/Maxwell House fits your needs and does the job don’t let me stop you from visiting an otherwise lovely spot. Just not my cuppa joe ?

This is the place to go to avoid Perkins. Not much of a selection but what they make is fresh and really good.

Really great service and they serve breakfast later than other places in the area. Would recommend it if in the area.

Excellent latte, and an exceptional cinnamon roll. The indoor seating is bar stool and limited, but during the summer the deck is lovely and on the back of the building so it’s protected from the bustle of the highway. We happened on the shop when we needed some charge for our EV. There’s a charge station at the Garrett Co Visitor Center a 2 minute walk away.
Parking: The parking is behind the shop from the Garrett Hwy, but easy to find via an entrance between Canoe On the Run and the Exxon Station.

My gripe is that even if you dine in on their cool patio all the food comes in to-go containers. The oatmeal is assembly required and comes in three containers. The coffee is in a paper cup. I even asked for a mug and didn't get one. It's wasteful and just feels tacky.

Not a full restaurant when we visited on October 17th. Food options available but not a sitdown restaurant when we visited.

A nice place to stop for lunch. Outdoor seating. Choice of sandwiches and the quality of the sandwiches were very good. Better and different than you'd find in one of the national sandwich chains. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Great spot for breakfast. Seating inside is extremely limited but they have a huge outdoor deck. Located just outside wisp resort. The croissants were incredibly fresh! We ate here twice for breakfast.

Dietary restrictions: No gluten free choices other than salad. Oatmeal was inedible, coffee was weak/tasteless. Very disappointing, but it explains why they are not very busy any longer.
