Amorous Auto went overboard to get me approved for vehicle I mean overboard that is outstanding Customer Service my sales person Marquis was exceptionally the best sales person I have encounter was very professional, concerned about my needs and did not stop until he satisfied everything I would need in getting a vehicle. The owner KC was extremely helpful and very professional also did his best to provide what I needed. Cynthia counter person was extremely nice and very professional. I would recommend this dealership to anyone seeking a vehicle you will get the help you need.

My husband and I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Amko Auto in Laurel, MD while attempting to purchase a yellow 2007 Porsche 911 Targa 4. We are serious buyers from Miami, having successfully purchased a Porsche from out of state before, so we were comfortable with the process. Unfortunately, the experience with Amko Auto left us incredibly frustrated.
We paid $1,080 for a Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI) and cylinder scope at Silver Lakes Porsche in Maryland. However, upon the car’s arrival at the Porsche dealership, the battery was completely dead, preventing the PPI from being completed because so many warnings and error codes were displayed in the cluster. This is something any reputable dealer should have addressed, especially considering the car has been sitting in their showroom for three years.
When we contacted Amko Auto about this issue, they insisted on installing a new battery themselves rather than paying Porsche to do it, despite the replacement and reprogramming only costing $225. In the end, we had to pay for the battery ourselves just to complete the PPI.
After the inspection, Porsche technicians identified six necessary repairs that should be addressed before purchasing the vehicle. When we raised these issues with Amko Auto, asking if they could either adjust the price or cover part of the repair costs, their response was simply, “Take it or leave it.” They refused to negotiate or provide any assistance.
To make matters worse, throughout our interactions, we encountered nothing but rudeness and a complete lack of customer service. They were dismissive and made no effort to work with us on resolving these issues. After investing our time, effort, and money, we walked away from the deal due to their unwillingness to address the concerns.
Additionally, they falsely advertised the car at $66,000, but when you call and inquire further, they are actually selling the car for $70,000 due to a $4,000 fee they cannot explain and refuse to waive. If they are this untrustworthy about their advertised price and unwilling to show any flexibility, they will likely have the Targa sitting there for much longer.
Transparency can go a long way. In a world where car dealers are everywhere and competition is fierce, good customer service is key. The car may look the part, but it comes with a list of necessary repairs that buyers will have to handle. We strongly caution anyone considering doing business with Amko Auto to look elsewhere.

Im leaving 2 stars because the salesman is just "along for the ride" with his employer. Seems like everything to do with the sale from credit scores, down payment, FEES this place just lies at will. Apparently the Tesla they listed on cargurus for $16,500 was a $23,000 car. when called out on bs & they cant come up with another lie mgr just shrugs his shoulders. This trip was an extra HOUR south of where I needed to be then I was stuck on the beltway for 5 hrs. Place is run by sucky individuals.
I ran out with the sales paperwork :-) Honda of South Hills, Pa laughed at the $800 doc fee. Im like "I totally didnt catch that they were soo full of crap on EVERYTHING ELSE!". Was like an extra $700 of bs by the time u got to the 4th line of the sales agreement! They basically buy/tie up good inventory then rake folks over the coals that cant shop anywhere else! No reason 800 credit scores theyre pushing high 9-10% apr on THEN inflating the sales price too.
+ $hitz & gigglez Said they didnt "see the car I financed in 2008 on credit report". :-)

I inquired about a vehicle for sale. I received multiple text, and emails from Ana. I asked her to confirm the vehicle location, that it was already inspected, cleaned and ready for sale. Anna confirmed everything then made me a 4:30pm appointment for the Temple Hills Location. I drove 30 minutes to the Temple Hills Location, waited another 10 minutes, then found out that the vehicle was at the Laurel location. I then drove 30 minutes back home. This lady wasted 1hr and 10 minutes of my time for a car that I didn’t even get to see. From past bad experience I even asked her to make sure the car was at the Temple Hills location and was ready to go. Just straight incompetence and unprofessionalism. Please don’t go to any of their locations without speaking to a manager 1st.
