I think Steve and Charlene are great. They have always been extremely courteous and helpful to me. They provide excellent feedback and expertise and I am happy to do business with them again. Too many people errantly think that every small business should act like Walmart and say the customer is always right. A customer who self-righteously feels like they should be able to bring a drink into an antique shop should be able to accept being reprimanded for it--especially when it comes to behaviors that could cause a significant financial loss to the proprietor. I'm willing to bet that the bad attitude from the owner came from a defiant attitude from the customers since my experience with this store was the complete opposite.
That's my two-cents!

I bet this store has some fine antiques. I buy from them at their Ebay site and have been treated with nothing but professionalism and courtesy. I would definitely stop in if I get up that way. I have purchased some quality merchandise from them. Thanks

I think it might be in your best interest to hire someone who has worked with human beings before. You act like you have never spoken to someone you would actually want to sell something to. Being condescending, rude, and inappropriate with a possible customer will not build a customer base. Nor will your responses to these reviews. Don't even bother responding because I really don't care what you have to say for I will not be visiting you again.

I walked in this establishment carrying my four month old baby in my arms, feeding him a bottle. The first words from the proprietor were, "I'm going to make an exception to the no liquids rule as I know you're going to be careful." First, say "hello" to guests. Next, it's a bottle. What a condescending woman this was. We didn't even walk through.
