Braun Moving moved our offices and did a fantastic job! They listened to what we needed and made it happen. It was a hot July day and they worked hard all day and took great care with all our items. I would recommend them to anyone looking to move an office or home.

I had a very big move. there was a lot of furniture and boxes.Thanks to the guys from the company, they carefully loaded and unloaded everything.It's a pleasure to work with people who do everything professionally.For such guys, it’s not a pity and a good tip?

UPDATE: It is telling that Boris is not disputing property and housing damage. Just trying to disparage the people whose home he ruined. When I asked him to come out to help us file an insurance claim he simply refused. We just want to repair our wall that he scratched. The movers literally wheeled carts up our stairs and damaged the stairs. I do not want to damage Boris' business, I just need his help repairing the significant damage he did to our home. Read below for full report of a very disappointing day.What a terrible experience.I should have had a sense about the day we would have, when the movers had trouble backing up the truck and the beginning of the day. While one of the movers saw our place and suggested it should take 4-5 hours (which is what it took to move everything in the first time.) We ended up spending time with our movers for 8 hours.They were incredibly slow moving everything out of our apartment, with one of the movers explaining that this was a new crew and they did not know how to load things into the truck properly. We asked them if we should wrap furniture with additional shrink wrap, but they said they would use towels. They did not do this for any of our furniture, which we only noticed on the other side.When they arrived at our home 1 mile away, they again had trouble moving the truck. They carelessly brought items into our house. Leaving scratches on most walls and a number of the ceiling. They also dented two steps and chipped many wall corners. We made a list of 6 scratched pieces of furniture. Worst of all, they broke our dining room table leaf making it impossible to use the table.At the end of the job they tried to charge us $1800 for 9 hours of work. While this was already an overcharge (it had not been 9 hours) we were very upset about all of the damage to our property and our walls and floors. We also felt that we should not be charged for their inability to load and drive the truck.Boris basically gaslit us, telling us that these things happen and that it was not as bad. He insisted we pay for all of the extra time. He also did not deduct the deposit from the initial invoice!We told him we would not have it and told him we would like him to come file a claim with insurance for all of the damage. He said he would discount our job $400 if we stopped contacting him. I guess some kind of bribe? We felt stuck wanting this terrible day to be over, but also needing someone to address the damage. We paid and tipped our movers, but now will need to pay significant more to buy a new table and calk and paint most of the walls in our house.Boris was unkind, unprofessional, and still has not agreed to come file an insurance claim for our damaged property. If he is insured, I do not see why this would be a problem. We sent him pictures and he still has not responded.In short Braun damaged our house, and our property, and overcharged us for at best their lack of experience, and at worst simply because they are dishonest. Boris should really be ashamed, and I hope he will come out before we need to file a lawsuit for some of these damages.Shame on this company. I sincerely hope they will change. In the meantime, take your business elsewhere.

I agree with the review that stated giving a one star rating is too much. We didn't have a lot of items to move (one bedroom, family room, living room and some misc. pieces). It took them four hours to load the truck and would have been more if I wasn't helping. After the truck was packed, they thought it would be a good idea to sit in my driveway and smoke pot.We got to the storage place and they were unloading one small item at time. It took them three hours to unload. Again it would have been longer had I not helped.Like the other review, they damaged two tables beyond repair. When I called the owner, he told me everything was blanketed, which it definitely was not. The owner proceeded to send me the contract that you have to sign off on to have them move things but offered no assistance to rectify the situation.I haven't moved in 28 years but I should have looked up more reviews before selecting this horrible company.When you speak to a business owner and he doesn't even comment on his employees smoking pot and driving his vehicles, it is pretty unnerving. I would not use this company and you shouldn't either.

Horrible moving company!! They drink while working. The owner's son had what looked like an AK-47 but it was actually where he stored his vodka and drank it while he drove the moving truck! They break things, they just throw boxes and furniture around, they ruined an antique piece of furniture, two tv's, dishware, glasses, they knicked most of our wood furniture, they moved things that were clearly marked storage to our apartment instead, and things marked for the apartment ended up in storage, they took a million smoke breaks, the owner, Boris, wasn't there to oversee the move, he just showed up to collect his money.

Recently used Braun to move from MD to PA and every part of using them was FANTASTIC! They were able to schedule us on short notice for a day that worked great and the staff was a delight to deal with! The price is very reasonable and the movers were extremely professional, friendly and careful with our items. Highly Recommend!

This company was amazing to work with and I highly recommend. They called to confirm the day before, showed up in the window of time they said they would, they were nice and hardworking. The communication was excellent all day. They were timely in loading and unloading. They made moving day stress free.

Left behind mystery stains on my carpet and cigarette burns on my furniture. Crew was young and inexperienced; tons of squabbling and in-fighting amongst themselves. I ended up doing part of the move myself after they left….they were so maddening that I couldn’t handle it. DO NOT USE .

If i could give this company zero stars i would. One star is WAY too many for this horrible moving company!!!! I just moved with them last week and the move took ALL day and multiple pieces were damaged not to mention some of the doorways and walls at the original house! I have attached a few of the pics of they damage this company did during my move IN addition to the hinge screws left in one of the movers masks!!!! PLEASE avoid this company at all costs unless you have unlimited income and do not really care about how your items are moved. Update: now they are saying that my furniture was damaged before they moved it and they are not responsible for anything. So now I am left with doing the repairs to my previous house and fixing / purchasing new furniture to replace the damaged! This has been the worst experience and I strongly advise everyone to go. With ANYONE else! These guys were the worst!!!

Used them for a move from an apartment to our first home in 2014. They were excellent and moved unbelievably quickly. Disassembled and reassembled furniture well, took care with fragile items, etc. a crew of two guys did the whole move in three hours. Amazing. This time we moved from a small house to a slightly larger house. A crew of five guys took 10 hours and didn’t even finish. I mean, I know we had more stuff than the last time, but our house was tiny (1300 sq.ft.) and we moved a lot of stuff on our own ahead of time as well. We moved two miles away. The guys were nice, but WOW did it take a long time. They also ran out of room in the truck and had to bring things in their cars. Then my large mirror that hung in our entryway mysteriously disappeared. We didn’t realize realize until we got through unpacking it all, and when I called the company they just said they didn’t have it. All I know is it was at our house, I watched them wrap it up, and it didn’t end up here. Not sure if they left it on the truck or in someone’s car by accident, or if it was broken and they didn’t want to say, but it should have turned up somewhere at some point. They also left a ton of stuff at the old house that it took us about 12 trips to bring over by car ourselves. For what we ended up paying for this all-day move one neighborhood over, I was disappointed. I’d been recommending them to everyone after our first move, but can’t in good conscience continue to recommend them after the second one.

I hired Braun Moving for an out-of-state move from MD to PA. Boris was extremely responsive from the very beginning, when I was requesting quotes. He was the only person who offered to come to the house to provide an informed, detailed quote. He answered all of my questions via email. The movers on the day of the job were fantastic! So helpful, and very fast. They took care of my belongings and we were done faster than expected. I highly recommend Braun Moving!
