“The Weis Markets in Lusby is a decently sized store. The location is convenient, and the employees have been polite and helpful. My minor annoyances are related to pricing and sales. Sometimes sale stickers stay up well past the end date of the sale, so you must really pay close attention to what the tags say. This location also isn't the greatest in terms of pricing at the register matching what was displayed on the shelf, on sale or not. If these small issues were addressed, the store would be a 5/5 for me. As things are now, I always feel like I have to take photos using my phone, which adds time and inconvenience to the shopping trip.”

“I like that this branch has an Pharmacy Drive-thru. No drive-thru at the Calvert Hospital branch, which is limited to RX fills. Some ratings here are about that location. So, some of the pharmacy staff at this location act as if they are bored or are unhappy. Could be that they suffer an illness that makes them act as if or that it is someone or some procedures makes them seem unhappy. It isn't a temporary thing as I have observed this every time I visit. Another young lady seems frustrated and takes a moment to shift from frustrated to kind/welcoming. The pharmacist I have communicated with has warmed to me and seems accepting of my personal needs. I have an RX that requires close scrutiny and, in the past, seemingly caused an attitude of judgment not suited towards terminal pt. needs. This pharmacist has seemingly warmed to me, perhaps due to my never having a 'panic' (or a 'seek') toward fill dates when inventory is low or when a question of 30 days vs. same DATE restriction. A person on the phone has not seemed to want to listen regarding this detail. I do not know their voices to determine who sighed into the receiver when I brought this subject to her attenrion. The date changes based on the no. of days in the month (28, 29, 30 & 31).The front cashiers I have encountered have been warm or friendly or both with the exception of an older gentleman to whom I could not get to engage. He didn't seem angry or bored; it was more of a feeling I had of his dislike for any conversation. I tried to get him to smile, look me in the eyes, or respond in kind towards my open attitude. I've only tried to speak with him once. Should we encounter each other again, I will be observant towards any attitude at others myself. It could have been a fluke day for him. If this happens again, I will amend this detail.I give 4 stars because the isle indicators are lacking distinction from products and can not be seen from most vantage points. I am supposing it is the isle height because the floor sqft limits inventory unless shelving is higher. The bldg seems to have been built to Walgreens specifications, and they miscalculated customers' wants and needs, or the population has overgrown the stores' original perception(s). If this was an existing build-out then perhaps Walgreens Corporate needs to contract for an addition/extension so the isles can be lowered to see what isles contain with distinction and more detail isle markers.Maybe purchase a close pc of land to build a stand-alone store space. The site would need to be near to where Walgreens currently sits as existing customers would not wish to travel farther, and there are a number of pharmacies close by. It could be a build more centered and standalone on the side where drive-thru is now. Customers come to Walgreens with all those choices, so Corporate should not risk losing its regulars. It is a preferred Medicare D pharmacy (not CVS). (There is a large - seemingly rarely used - parking lot on the drive- thru side of the bldg. perfect for my suggestion of adding square footage and gaining 5 star reviews).Keep the drive through and fix its communication. All employees should be on earpiece at this day and age, but especially drive-thru attendants/pharmacy customer service clerks. You know what? Now that I am speaking of the drive-thru, this bldg was a bank! The antiquated drawer, corded phone use for drive-thru customers, goose neck microphone that rarely works and gets in the way and poles where I am guessing a tube shute once was, gives insight into to why space is cramped for pharmacy inventory and personnel especially and why I can not see isle markers or find what I am looking for without assistance! Tear down after building a new store centered in side parking lot then tear this one down to make a new parking lot. Drive thru with good cameras and lighting now facing where the entrance was on this old bldg.!!!??? Will owner of land allow for this? Ask!”

“I'm SO Happy I found this place! The Pharmacist Shannon was so sweet and INCREDIBLY HELPFUL!!! She literally went above and beyond..So Thank You Shannon? And on top of that my medicine was cheaper there than the Walgreens by me. It was worth the Drive.”
