We used Hoffman Moving to move our home from California MD to Huntersville NC. Harold and his son Matthew did an absolutely fantastic job - hard working, polite, and efficient. Plus a shout out to Casey who helped them with the packup in Maryland. I appreciated the fixed-fee contract rate (no add-on surprises!) which was very reasonable and fair - less than I had expected for the job. Highly recommend this company for your moving and transport needs

Super rude and unprofessional. The owner and his brother are horrific. The young son was polite and kind. Charged me way too much for the job and had the audacity to talk to me like absolute trash. Do not use if you are a woman, just the worst experience!

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Hoffman Transport & Moving! They are professional, efficient, and a great value. They truly had us packed & loaded (2 bed 2 bath apt) within an hour and unpacked in another hour. They did a great job and took fantastic care of our belongings. 100% recommend them!

Everything went smoothly from my initial phone call to Harold inquiring about his company to the moving day itself. Harold responded quickly and professionally to my questions prior to the move.On the day of the move, he and his team worked efficiently and very carefully. Not only are they hard workers (they had to contend with A LOT of steps!!), they are also very nice/polite people. They promised me that they’d take good care of our things, and they kept that promise.I highly recommend Hoffman’s Moving Co. and would definitely use them again.

Called these guys about a week ago and schedule a walkthrough. Was told that they would be here between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m on the agreed day. 305pm came so I called them to find out what was going on. When the guy answered all you could hear was kids in the background so obviously he was with his family. I got no call and no show. This is no way to run a business. My recommendations is fine another moving company that is more responsible

I used this company for a local move. I was given a flat rate following an in-person assessment. The customer service with a detailed description of the process including payment options that preceded contract signing was on point. The movers were professional, focused, and efficient. Personally, I was distracted by work related stuff and couldn't interact with them as I would have wished, but they were very team oriented and finished my move quicker than anticipated. I highly recommend this company, and I would not hesitate to use this them again.Service: Local removals

I had a great experience with Hoffman Transport for my move. Everyone was hard-working, quick and efficient! To boot they were all really pleasant and the quote they gave to me after assessing my home was reasonable. Everything went so smoothly, I would recommend them to anyone needing movers.

If you need a moving company, call Hoffman Transportation.Of all the times I've moved and dealt with moving companies, this was the least stressful move I've ever experienced!I had plans for a u-haul truck and some moving help to load the truck. But u-haul didn't have updated information and movers were not available. I tried to just cancel movers, not my truck but they cancelled everything. Then I tried to reschedule the truck but there were none available! So I scrambled looking for some moving help. Someone in one of the groups I'm in recommended Hoffman. I called a few but they were the only ones available in such short notice. They were polite and professional and sweet to my kids. They gave me one flat rate and that was all I paid. No extra fees or surprise added expenses. They took great care packing up and uploading everything. Wouldn't let me buy them lunch. And it was quite frustrating loading up the truck because my fire alarm kept going off. But they had the best attitude and continued to press on.Hoffman Transportation is one of the most professional services I've ever had!

Just moved from MD to PA. This family business is outstanding. No hidden fees, professional and friendly. Very accommodating. I would recommend them for any moving job. They made it easy for us on a very stressful day.
