I came in close to opening for a tire rotation, oil change, and filter change. I was out within an hour and a half. I loved that there was no pressuring or upsell - and they were kind enough to tell me something I should look towards fixing at my next oil change so I can be prepared.
What I really liked about this place was that they knew just about everyone coming in the door. I heard "how was your vacation" or "how is your husband doing", etc as people came in and out. I regularly take our family’s vehicles to the MIDAS Shop in Ellicott City (MD) for a needed oil/filter change. I do so, because each time I find the need to make an appointment, I’m appreciative and impressed with the professionalism and welcoming demeanor of the management and employees.
A shout out to store manager “Dana,” as well as “Scott,” who took my initial call, scheduled the work, and processed payment. Both are welcoming, courteous, and friendly to their customers, but then so are the remaining employees with whom I’ve interacted while one of our vehicles was being serviced.
In a recent visit, I no sooner left our Lexus SC430 off at the shop, walked to our home nearby, when I received a call from the store manager, saying the vehicle was ready. I find the staff to be honest and dependable. The level of their work is always one of quality, and the work performed is done in a timely manner.
Given the seemingly poor performance of many companies today, it is a unique pleasure to do business with an auto service company that looks out for your vehicle and your best interest, a company that, in my view, has been unfailingly reliable, prompt, and fair.
These are great people, and I highly recommend Ellicott City MIDAS to anyone looking for excellent service, fairness, and efficiency.”

“AutoStream of Randallstown gets a Grade A+ from me. This business is not just a Vehicle but Customer Care Center as well. My experience with the staff (Honorable mentions: Stone and Russell) was phenomenal and beyond my expectations. I had a 2015 which required a torque converter... The cost to repair was expensive ( oop even with an ext warranty) ... I chose to invest in another vehicle and I went for a 2020. After the signing with the dealership, I made an appointment immediately with AutoStream to have the 2020 checked. While they were servicing the vehicle they offered me a shuttle to and from my residence. There were issues with the 2020 and AutoStream provided not only the outcome, but pics and videos with clear and cohesive explanations with pricing!! Each interaction with this team- especially Stone, as he was my point person of contact - was open, honest and transparent. These are the characteristics I value when conducting business. I feel at ease to know this business operates on integrity and that they place the needs of their customers first. AutoStream is now my official Center to visit for my car CARE needs. “I had 2 tires replaced here, recommended by my car mechanic who I trust very much. When I first got to the shop. I explained to the mechanic as we were walking to my car, that I had a few tire leaks and I needed them to find the faulty tires.
When I got the car back, I left the next day for a 10 hr road trip up north. Halfway during the trip, I stopped for the night to sleep. In the morning my one old tire was completely flat, sitting on the ground. I was able to get air in it and continue the trip, but I needed air every 2-3 days in that tire.
This continued for a week until I drove back home on the same tire.
When I got back to Baltimore I took my car to my mechanic who found a rip in the tire.
I called interstate to explain that I would like one of my old tires put back on and the issue resolved because I explained to the initial mechanic that there was other issues with my tires besides the tread. They said they didn’t see a note by the mechanic I spoke to. But that they would look for a tire for me. They ended up doing everything they could to get me squeezed in and to resolve the issue to the point where I didn’t have to use my spare anymore.
Exceptional service and the guys really care. As a tradesman myself, I have a lot of respect for these guys and their problem solving skills.”
