“Today, I had a great time at the post office thanks to Lauren. She was always smiling and very helpful, which made me feel much better after a not-so-nice encounter with another staff member who rudely declined my request for a pen (and that's why I took a star away from my review). I hope all the staff at the post office could be as friendly as Lauren!”

“Came in for passport service and Jocelyn greeted us and took care of the 2 of us in no time at all. We had our photos taken, our information taken and processed in about 20 minutes. I recommend having the documents already filled out, which we had done.”

These ladies have gone above and beyond in assisting me with address changes and the new system for the lock boxes. I appreicate the their time, patience and kindness. “Had a mis-delivered package. Over a few days, Ms. Kelly personally tracked it down and made sure it arrived at my place securely. She was nice, professional, helpful and kept me updated throughout. You don’t see this kind of service often :)”

“Not sure about the postmaster as other people have noted, but the clerk (C3, 28 Oct, 12:06PM) I interacted with was incredibly friendly and helpful and helped me return some items with the Label Broker after the self service machine was unable to help. Incredibly friendly staff that is accommodating and empathetic!”

“Five stars for the women working there today. She was helpful and patient and explained everything to me as I had no idea how to send my letter. The post office was empty, and the wait was short. Everything I needed was provided to me.”

“We had were blessed with amazing support and service from Tammy, who took us in after a horrible experience being cancelled at Pikesville for our passport appointment. Tammy was working alone with a full line of customers. She kept everyone in good spirits and move quickly and efficiently. We are so grateful to everyone who waited patiently for us to complete our application.Pikesville post office Olivia cancelled us 30 minutes ahead of our appointment. We arrived on time, hadn’t heard the voicemail. There were 4 people in line and 2 postal workers. And she sent us to security where they have walk in passports service. They do this regularly as we have been finding out. The people at security should not have to pick up slack for the laziness of the Pikesville postal workers. Unacceptable!!”

“The staff is fantastic! I have interacted with Brent and Dee on many occasions. They are very polite, helpful and knowledgeable. I wish all of the Postal Service employees were that way. Especially the ones that deliver my mail.”

“As a long time resident, this Post Office is consistently one of the best in Baltimore. They are often understaffed and thus have many temps, but the regular personnel are caring & hardworking. The most common thing among the staff I have known is that they often get promoted to new positions elsewhere. I recently had 2 pkgs mis-delivered by a temp, but my regular carrier & his supervisor tracked them both down from a random house in the neighborhood in less than 30min. That is how knowledgeable and dedicated they are!”

“I have had mainly good experiences at this post office . My mail gets to its destination amazingly fast (especially considering that this is not Baltimore’s main post office) and the wait time for service is usually a short one.And the most pleasant and personable postal clerk works at this branch. Good customer service is spelled K-E-N-D-R-A. She is patient, communicates clearly and makes me feel appreciated as a customer. She bumps this four star branch to five stars for me.”

“I used to go to the Fed Hill location but too many issues each time with customer service. So I decided to venture a couple miles away for better service. Best post office in B-More, very helpful and courteous. Typically there are 2 women that work there and they are both great! ?”

“The suite itself could use a facelift/modernization, but the staff's attitude, professionalism & help is absolutely superb! Makes you question the phrase origins of "going postal". The gentleman helping me was well spoken, versed and knowledgeable of the whats and hows and even with what he didn't know off the top of his head, he didn't hesitate to go above and beyond to find the answers that I was seeking. And doing it all with smile too. I was genuinely pleased with the service received and would refer this branch to anyone who is in need of post office or staff who will do whatever they can to help you accomplish your mailing needs.”

“Close this post office already, because whether they will be open the hours that are stated is anybody’s guess. This is the only post that I have ever been to, that is not open during their normal business hours. It’s nothing more frustrating than planning your day that includes a trip to this post office and it is closed, especially if you rely on mobility bus services for transportation. If you call customer service for their hours of operation they will tell you that they should be open. A kiosk would be better than this, there’s never a sign posted explaining the situation. Why do this happens only at this post office? I understand that some situations can’t be avoided, but this is a continuous problem.Update: They have definitely improved on being opened at the times that are posted, which makes things a lot better. The customer service has always been good, employees are pleasant and helpful. I just hope that they continue being opened during their business hours.”

“Have only had to stop by the physical location a few times, but has always been a quick experience and staff were courteous. Mail delivery to my home has always been good and staff delivering mail have always been nice. No complaints here and hope others consider leaving positive reviews in addition to negative ones.”

“Donald is our regular carrier. Thank you for always being on time, your honest, your respectful, none of the mail goes missing, and we love you and appreciate you. The days you aren't here, we know. Integrity is what you do when no one is looking, and he's got it.”

“Just wish their shipping supply is stocked. Other than that cool post office that was going to get closed down but the neighborhood bond together to keep open. 4 stars because nothing is perfect”

“I only knock one star off because it's the USPS. It's not a fun experience dealing with them as a whole. All the other stars go to Monique. She is so efficient and polite. Usually postal service workers are angry and demeaning. Monique is such a star of the USPS. I'm always in and out quickly and she makes the experience so much better.”

“I know folks have had bad experiences with the USPS and have good reason to air complaints, but I rarely see a positive review. We recently were missing to pieces of important mail that should have been delivered 11 days ago per the Informed Delivery service notice (very good.) Yesterday I reported the details to the USPS via email and was emailed back that the search request was received and that we'd hear back in two or three days. Today, the next day, I received a call from our local Catonsville PO. Though the service person couldn't tell me where exactly our mail was other than to say it had been received downtown and may have fallen off of the scanner, she was very polite. Right after our call, a postal truck pulled up with both pieces of mail, not our normal delivery. Probably a coincidence, but we had a prompt, good interaction with a postal worker and we got our mail. Our mail carriers have always been great. In all the decades of receiving mail, we can count on one hand the number of times we've had delays that we've been aware of. Only twice has the mail looked chewed up by a machine, yet still delivered. With the amount of mail that is handles every day, with the current number of cuts and "reorganizations" that are happening that slows the mail rather than keeps it efficient, the people who work in the trenches of the PO are doing a fantastic, thankless job. The cost of mail is still reasonable and the PO services areas that the for profit corporations don't feel are profitable enough. If those same companies were to take over mail delivery, it will cost us twice or three times as much while paying workers less with the profits going to the executives. Thank you, Catonsville postal workers, and those everywhere in the system that keep our mail coming.”

“I have been here a few times to mail packages or drop off letters. Each time, the post master has been very helpful and quick to get me in and out. I can't imagine their job is an easy one.”

“My trip to the Severna Park post office was the best experience Ive ever had at a post office in Maryland. The staff were kind and helpful and the wait was not long at all (Monday afternoon at 1:30pm). Shout out to Timara, who assisted me and was wonderful.”

“This location is always super helpful and very nice. I see customers just being rude and nasty which solves no problem at all, but they never return that same negative energy. Postal is a very important and serious job. I appreciate them at Loudon Avenue.”

“I can't say enough about this PO - large and we'll-maintained with super convienient 24-self service. You can buy postage, send packages with postage purchase - it was a life safer. Most of my day was wasted, driving to two other PO that are worthless for after hours service. USPS Windsor Mill came through. I am very pleased. A+”

Thank you Darlene!”

“Good clean location. Note, this is a mini Post Office, no rental P.O. boxes, expect lines at the window--usually 1 or 2 employees work there, esp. during peak time.”

“I use the U.S. Postal Service at least several times per week. Occasionally, I use Window services for purchasing postage stamps and or money orders. The staff has always been friendly, courteous, and efficient”
