Similar experience to other reviews. I haven't been in this place for about a year, I asked about the price of 2 different bottles of bourbon, which had to be looked up because the prices were not displayed. The man working behind the counter seemed pretty annoyed that I asked and didn't buy anything. The store was empty, so I doubt he was too busy, and the open sign was on, sorry for the inconvenience. I definitely did not get a welcoming come back feeling, more of a "buy something or get out of here" feeling. Pretty sure the owner mumbled something while walking away from me and shaking his head after I told him I didn't want to buy.

Horrible experience and very rude owner behind the counter. I tried to give this store a chance. The owner blew it! This man stalked me on the floor as if I was going to steal while I was trying to look around. He attempted to sell me a $50 bottle of wine when I clearly asked for the brand of what I like where I typically buy at another retailer. He tried to push the sale on me to the point where I became very uncomfortable. I should have walked out then. He was trying to be helpful I'm sure but when I got to the register he became very condescending and putting me down for the price of my purchase. He received a phone call during my transaction which I'm assuming was from a sales rep. He was extremely disrespectful to them also. He yelled across the store to one of the employees with total disrespect. He stated the price of my wine and just took my money out of my hand very aggressively. He laid my change on the counter instead of in my hand which was held out in front of him. He couldn't provide a receipt because he never rang my purchase up through their system. This place is crooked and dishonest. Little did he know that my husband works for the IRS. This establishment will be reported!!! Support your local businesses that are honest and show integrity and respect. This store if far from it. I'll NEVER visit this location again and neither will my family and friends.

I generally do not write reviews, but this one I had too! I had to give a star in order for me to post this review. May rating is actually a ZERO! I have never been SOOOOOO disrespected by a business owner the way I did by the owner Kumar did today. He was really rude and disrespectful. I called to ask a question about purchasing something from him and he keep hanging the phone up. Each time I called he made a smart remark and hung up each time. I was going to give him my business but after today, he will not get no business from me ever again! With that being said I would advise that NO ONE SHOULD PATRONIZE CENTRE LIQUORS!

If I could I would give this place a zero stars. The man that tried to help , Quickly grabs the bottle and hands it to me, and when I asked to see the selection he just yelled at me "ok don't take my opinion! They are all over the store. He acts like he is in a rush, rude, and doesn't have the time to tend to his customers. I will spend the gas money to drive somewhere else where my business is appreciated.The cashier at the register was really nice. Hope he doesn't mistreat him.

The female owner is very disrespectful. She didn't have an issue taking my money via hand to hand, but put my change on the counter when my hand was out to receive it.

Rude, the lady in the store was wasted trying to "help" me find something when really she was just a nuisance. Watched me like I was trying to steal. Rushed me when trying to checkout. Never going here again, I'll drive somewhere else where the staff is friendly.

DO NOT GO HERE!
Small selection as it is, I asked about one bottle then declined since it was about 20 dollars overpriced. Then on my way out he stops me to ask what I'm looking for. I said I do not see anything I want. Then he raises his voice and ask "what you want?! Blanton's, Pappy?"
I said "I wasn't but if you have it how much?"
He says louder in condescending tone "You have money? You want Blanton's? $400."
I said yea right, then he says $300. I laughed and said not when I paid retail at $70! He started saying something to his customer but I left.
No wonder there isn't much on the shelf, he wants 6x retail for it.

This place is a rip-off. Charging about 20 $ extra on the bottle for Buffalo Trace. It’s hard to find but not worth 50 bucks a bottle.

Doesn't deserve even one star. Rude, horrible people. Dont go! They won't help you, if you are not a regular. But, all customers were new customers at some point, right?

Avoid this place at all cost! I was literally just in this liquor after going to the gym so I am in soccer shorts (no pockets) and a hoodie with my hood up only covering my ears. The owner of the store refused service to me because of my hood threatened to call the cops on me and placed his hands on me. Now as a veteran who currently still serves this country I am disgusted by this guy. So if you want to be told what to wear and how to wear it while in his store go ahead! And hey you might even get accused of stealing!

Avoid this place like the plaque. One of the single worst stores I've gone into. If your into bourbon just drive buy. Their selection is laughable and overpriced even for this area. They keep bottom shelf bottles behind the counter trying to make them seem more special than they are. The clerk behind the counter obviously doesn't know the bourbon market. He asked what I was looking for because "we have special bottles not displayed" I responded "tell me what you have and maybe I'll be interested" he then insisted I "tell me the name your looking for" quite rudely I might add. I again told him I don't have 1 particular bottle to that he responded " We don't have anything" They obviously don't want to sell whatever overpriced bottle they have on the managers desk. I have to admit their legend of the $400 bottle of Blanton's is what made me stop in and I wanted him to try and sell it but he must be tired of being laughed at. If the manager or owner of this place actually looms at these reviews you need to do something about this cashier behind the counter because he is not helping your business.
