Approx November 18, 2023 my husband delivered all tax documents to All States Tax in Leonardtown for our 2022 federal and state taxes to be prepared and filed. We were well aware we were very late filing and were prepared for the penalties for such. Our Federal taxes were prepared and filed, however the state had taken their hiatus prior to tax season for 2023. As tax filings for 2023 began we were unable to make any progress with All States for the filing of our 2022 State taxes and began requesting our documents be returned. During our multitude of requests we were given variations of where our documents were located, what their normal process is. I delivered a Demand Letter for our documents to be produced to us no later than April 13 2024. On Friday, April 12 I received a phone call from Peg stating "sue me if you want to, I'm not coming to Leonardtown tomorrow, right now I am just trying to survive until the 15th". At that point I filed a formal written complaint with the IRS on All State Tax. On Saturday, April 20 my husband received an email stating she had located our documents and the documents would be in the Leonardtown office to pick up "at our convenience". After multiple attempts to pick up our documents I finally have them and can now schedule an appt I don't have to cancel to file our taxes to be filed!
Fair Warning.... Avoid at all cost! Very poor business, customer service and organizational skills. I would give ZERO stars if possible.
