“Accommodating, knowledgeable, pleasant, know their stuff, have what I want and plenty more stuff, to "solve problems I don't have yet" (my wife says "buy stuff I don't need"), and I have to assume reasonably priced (with all those other great attributes, final price sounds very reasonable). A distance away for us, so I appreciate finding what I went for, and other really neat stuff.”
“This review is to compliment the Potomac Garden Center (PGC) at their North Potomac location, with particular praise for Greg. He is the person there that is the plant and landscaping expert who has been amazing helping not only me and my family (extended members, included!), but also the many folk from my community and congregation I have recommended they check out PGC. Greg (not sure what his last name is, but he is almost always there most days and available if you ask any staff person there for him). He provides excellent advice, including not only for when you want to buy plants, bushes, trees, etc. but also if/whenever you might be worried about something. If you are having an issue, bring a sample of your plant to PGC and Greg will analyze the problem for you (he has a microscope and other techniques there on site that he uses if needed in his analysis). We have extensive landscaping throughout the properties we have and I have tried to work with various centers over the years. In fact, we used to consistently go to another center in Potomac when Greg worked there before PGC smartly hired him away from them! We followed him to PGC and became a loyal PGC customer after that. It is very hard to find anyone at any of the surrounding plant and garden centers who have his level of knowledge on new and existing plants and/or if you are having problems with your existing plants, bushes, trees, etc. You may wonder why I am writing this review now with such praise for Greg in particular. It is because he recently helped my wife (who can be rather "selective" and specific, and who also praises Greg like I do) with a new project. With it being the holiday season and thinking at this time of year about what is positive and who to thank to thank for that, this review is in large part to thank Greg for his professionalism and for his help with stuff both large and small. And while, hands down/no doubt, he is a true asset there at PGC, I also want to compliment the Center overall. The staff overall are friendly, ready to offer assistance on straightforward purchases or if you need to find something you are looking for. If you go there/shop there, I would also recommend checking out the area inside they have set up as a sort of gift shop (separate from the area where they have an extensive inventory of garden supplies). That gift area seems to always have interesting items (not just garden related). Ok, I will stop here with this-- if you are interested in either filling in a corner of your property with something pretty/interesting or want to design a full scale landscaping project, I recommend you talk with Greg. He seems to be the center of the universe there, with years of experience and horticultural knowledge. to note, this review is based not only on our direct experiences with Greg and PGC, but also on all the positive feedback about him and the center I have received from many of the folk we have recommended PGC to. - PAV & family.”
“They have great stuff love it! Although I don't see a good reason to not give sale price to a customer that doesn't have the flyer.. please do better in the future.”

We gave her basically zero direction and just showed her a couple of bouquets that we liked with someone else and voila! She created such beauty that we were blown away! All our guests also complimented the centerpieces as well as the florals for the arch. Don't think twice and go with Anne right now. You won't be disappointed :)”

The trees were very healthy and the ones installed in October have grown about one foot. The installation crew did a very good job installing, mulching and staking the trees, cleaning up when finished. I am very happy with the purchase and installation of the trees from Pryor’s Nursery.”
“I would like to start by saying that this is THE BEST NURSERY, I personally love their quality and also their customer service. I Every single employe/person here makes you feel welcome. Starting from the President/founder, September, Scott, this family-owned business is the best.”
“Great place!!Enormous selection, supremely knowledgeable owner and a quiet, out-of-the-way location make this one of the nicest nurseries we've been to. Devoted entirely to azaleas (with some rhododendrons thrown in for good measure) it's a real gem of a place. We're lucky to have it in our area.Pay attention to the hours posted; don't just show up when it's convenient to you. It's run by just a few people (mostly one) so be considerate. Also, if you have trouble finding it, turn at the sign for Doc Waters Cidery.”
“I’m currently building a bioactive enclosure for my gecko and they had everything I was looking for. Cork wood, branches and smooth sticks, succulents, air plants, etc. Very happy!”
“This is the place to go if you need top soil, mulch or gravel. They will load in the back of your truck with a loader. Reasonable prices and a great location. Staff is friendly and it never takes long for me to get in and out. I have a regular pickup truck (1500) and they have no problem putting small loads in my truck. It's where all the landscape companies around here load up their much bigger trucks as well.”
“It's a place to get flowers plants and tools for gardening. I have been visiting Home Depot very often this year for my flower garden projects. I also ordered rose plants online but they're not that good. They have a variety of rose plants at a reasonable price.”
“Best customer service we've experienced in a Home Depot. Duane was exceptional and helped us locate what we needed and determine the best choice for our needs (lawn care equip). Thanks for making things easy for us! Props to Duane.”
“This is a huge store, & I am just referring to the regular store not the attached equipment rental area. I was here on a weekday morning, & I saw employees everywhere I looked. I never had a problem finding someone to ask for help from. I recommend this Home Depot for all your seasonal decorations & your home improvement, fixit and related maintenance items. There is also a nice, large and clean men's restroom. The Christmas decorations you can get here are awesome & more than enough to decorate both the inside & outside of your home in the spirit of the season. If you are looking for a good sale they are in every department of the store. There was clearance in the gardening department and winter hand warmers on sale at the entrance. Until next time be kind to each other. @yelpdc #homedepot #christmastime”
“Online purchase returned to the store was quick and easy. Employee was very professional.
In contrast to my recent experience at a competitor in the Kentlands, I could not be happier with this Home Depot and plan to give them more of my business.”

Although I had a temper because of technical issues with my payment, she was patient and trying her best to help me out for over an hour, calling to tech support and main customer service line. One comment for management thou, please consider having online price match in store, I picked up my items in shopping cart in store, went to cashier, and since they don't do price match, I was asked to but it online, and wait for the confirmation and then take out the items that are already in my shopping cart. Just waste of time on customer side.”

21010 Frederick Rd, Germantown“So after going to a local nursery and looking at Christmas trees, attempting to shop local for the holiday... I just could not stomach paying that much of a premium for a local vendor. I'm 100% willing to chip in a bit extra to buy local. But this nursery, about 8 minutes away from Home Depot, was almost twice the price for a tree that was 2 feet shorter. Some of the cheapest trees there were 80 dollars, and they were a bit rough off. Most of the trees we're 109 and up. So I made my way over to this Home Depot and found a tree that's about 6.5 feet for about 60 bucks. I'm sorry local nursery. Like, I said- I'd be fine with a bit of a mark up... but not a 100 percent markup for a shorter tree. I'm sorry, I just can't stomach that ;/ In any event, I ran into this place and the guy in the nursery was SO helpful. He asked me a bunch of questions about the tree I wanted. I'm always a little bit lost when shopping for trees. Do I feel confident that I know the difference between a fraser fir, balsam fir, noble fir - absolutely not. Do I know the difference between those and a white pine... yes. I know A LITTLE something lol. Just not a lot of something. So the super nice guy took down some trees for me, cut off the netting and shook them out just so I could see all the branches. He was as nice as could be. Then, the young gentleman who attached the tree to the top of my car was also as pleasant as pie. Is that even a saying? It should be if it isn't one. He was a super nice guy who I found out has worked at Home Depot for 5 years now, and he's planning on going into the Air Force soon enough. He did a solid job of attaching my tree to my car roof, and he was even hesitant to accept a tip when I offered it. I did insist that he took it. All in all, a solid wonderful experience at Home Depot in Germantown getting a tree. It was secure as could be on the way home and I love how it looks all trimmed up :)”

“Great experience working with Stadler in Gaithersburg and a huge shout out to Janisann who made my day by being sooooo helpful and a joy to work with. My favorite nursery as of today.”
